The Kabbalah on Blood, Fat and Cheeseburgers!: Judaism’s Food Obsession, Part 4 This concluding class of the series sets out to further the fascinating thesis developed over the previous lectures. Here you'll find a compelling and inspiring explanation as to why and how matter from a perfectly kosher animal are in fact absolutely un-Kosher. This rumination draws on a wide range of classical early sources that, on the surface, do not seem to jibe with the Lurianic ideas of Tikkun Olam— however in the end everything is brilliantly reconciled as per a little-known and illuminating teaching of the Rebbe! Once the blood and guts fall into place, the thesis lends itself perfectly in explaining why and how kosher milk and meat too become totally toxic when fused together!

(Episode 1 in the 3 part series) This in-depth excavation digs deeply into scripture and Talmudic teachings about the observance of birthdays by both royals and regulars alike. Should ancient associations of birthdays and idolatrous rites disqualify us from marking the anniversary of our terrestrial arrival, or did they actually appropriate Torah truisms. Drawing from a wide range of traditional sources, this class pulls no punches in demystifying the subject – stridently leading you to unmistakably clear conclusions about its Torah-true origins.

“Are Birthday Parties Kosher?” (Episode 2 in the 3 part series) Having established multiple Torah sources regarding the significance and potency of one’s birthday, we now move on to look at parties and formal celebrations. Is there an authentic Jewish tradition for such get-togethers, and is the anniversary of birth a cause for joy or sobriety? This frank and honest rumination attempts to present a clear picture of the historic reality, and the rationale the Rebbe shared with us in explaining his calling to observe and celebrate the date of our terrestrial birth!

1:20:35
Aftermath: Finding Comfort after — a Torah perspective on faith in the face of suffering. On Shabbat, the 18th of the Jewish month of Mar-Cheshvon (October 27, 2018) we witnessed the deadliest massacre of Jews ever on North American soil in which 11 of our brothers and sisters were brutally cut down for no other reason than being Jewish, cold-bloodily murdered as they gathered together in prayer. Understandably, many are feeling frightened, vulnerable or even angry. Inevitably, when struck by such tragedy, we may hear a inner voice saying: “where is G-d,” or “how could a loving G-d abandon us and allow this to happen?” Our sacred Torah teachings offer wide-ranging insights in this area. Please join me to discover a Torah-true view about G-d’s response to human suffering and tragedy, as well as what our response should be in gut wrenching moments like these. This lecture is dedicated in memory of those who lost their lives in the horrific Pittsburgh shooting, and for the full and speedy recovery for those injured in the attack. May we know no more sorrow and tragedy, and may Hashem comfort, shield and protect His children from all harm - in Israel and wherever our brethren may be.

Custom and Convention! () There’s lots of hoopla attached to the Shabbat prior to Purim, as it's host to a special Torah reading said to be biblically mandated. Yet, it's common knowledge that public Torah readings are rabbinically ordained – so how could it possibly be an actual biblical mitzvah? After documenting the earliest sources for this idea; we go on to establish its legal definition and jurisprudence, attaining a better understanding of its unique rhyme and reason. This class provides an understanding of its underlying purpose as an annual reading that is supposed to influence our psyche all year long! Rabbi Mendel Kaplan

Custom and Convention: The Parshat Para Purity Reading (Red Heifer Purity) Following Purim, comes the third seasonal Torah Reading – this time focused on ritual purification for the severest level of impurity engendered by contact with death. Heralding the requisite preparation for the key Paschal Offering, the rhyme and reason for this annual public reading is easily understood. However, multiple early sources indicate it to be biblically mandated – a notion difficult to understand. Jewish Custom & Convention First Course: “Why Gefilte Fish?” There are copious Talmudic references to fish on the Shabbat menu, yet, despite its apparent deep history something seems fishy as it virtually disappears from Torah literature for over 1000 years – only to reappear with regularity in Halachik codes and Responsa of the late modern period! A fascinating thesis is introduced to solve this seeming mystery, prominently placing kosher seafood on the Shabbat table. Rhyme and reason for the development of European “Gefilte” and its cousin “Schmaltz” are richly introduced and garnished with tantalizing insight and clarity!

Jan 18, 2022
1:48:14
We the Jewish People have been observing a Rosh Hashana for Trees – in the middle of the winter -- since arriving in the Israel more than 32 centuries ago and beginning to work the land. So, to be sure, Tu B'Shvat is clearly an ancient Torah tradition that's as old as Eretz Yisrael itself. Yet as Israel is better known today for High Tech Start-ups than Agriculture should it still occupy that much space on our National Hard Drive? To explain why we persist in marking this date, many invoke a Talmudic teaching on a verse in Deuteronomy (20;19) protecting trees from destruction in warfare. Our Sages saw it as (in effect) likening a human being to a tree. However, instead of clarifying our seemingly inexplicable obsession with this minor anniversary, it only serves to exacerbate the question: Why indeed would the Torah Compare People to Trees?! This deeply insightful, and emotionally evocative presentation will offer a lucid overview of what this holiday is (and isn't) about, as it answers the questions and provides powerful lessons about life, and life-long learning. Here you will discover invaluable information on Tu B'shvat, as well as an effective strategy to identify truly ethical and inspirational spiritual leadership and guidance -- perhaps more relevant than ever in our confusing day and age! is a special presentation delivered to honour CHOF BAIS SHEVAT, the Yahrzeit-Hilula of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson, Soulmate of the internationally revered Lubavitcher Rebbe of Righteous Memory. Backgrounder: In 1992, in the days following Yartzeit-Hilula of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe and leading up to the Rebbetzin’s fourth Yartzeit-Hilula, the Rebbe delivered a series of ground-breaking addresses on Female empowerment in the Torah Perspective. Rather than the typical modern-day accommodations and adjustments, they comprised an unapologetic presentation of eternal Yiddishkeit values. To summarize (at the risk of gross oversimplification) this is the Timeless Torah-True Take on Female Empowerment. The ideas are ground-breaking. Shattering glass ceilings with concepts that are at once copiously sourced, yet entirely novel. Its an insightful, and uplifting presentation that provide us a powerful and inspirational Torah viewpoint on Jewish Femininity and our Modern Era. Ultimately our Mesorah and Torah traditions are Eternal, if your seeing anything new it's because we’re simply going Back to the Future. Sounds intriguing, watch, listen, and see for yourself! Sep 6, 2024
37:55
Episode Forty-Four, entitled 'INTENDED CONSEQUENCE' introduces us to the Era of Moshiach as the climax and sum of thousands of years of spiritual toil. In other words, the messianic utopia is not only a promised, but inherently unrelated reward for our blood, sweat, and tears, but rather a direct consequence of our efforts, inspiration, and perspiration. So, here's the question we may now ask: who care?! Do intended consequences require intention, or are our intentions immaterial? In addition to providing clarity on the relevancy of intent and mindfulness, this Episode will open the door to an important topic that will be further explored and elaborated in the immediate Episodes to follow. This lesson comprises the Forty-fourth segment of an ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption generally referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (The Messiah).

"Owning Anticipation" #45 of "ANTICIPATION,"
Sep 9, 2024
34:01
Episode Forty-Five, entitled 'OWNING ANTICIPATION' explores implications of the previously established Torah truism on the future Messianic reality being resultant of our Avodat (service to) Hashem [especially, but not exclusively] during exilic times. As that imminent future isn't an indirect remuneration, but a direct result of our efforts, it naturally follows that we'd best be mindfully creating the consequence. And that would necessarily engender anticipatory excitement! The BIG question: is the mindfulness an individual mandate, or requisite requirement for everyone to take "ownership" of, and infuse observance with such anticipation? Drawing on a wide range of sources, Owning Anticipation, makes that case for that personalization. It comprises the Forty-fifth segment of an ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah)!

"Time to Give It Up?" #46 of "ANTICIPATION,"
Sep 9, 2024
33:35
Episode Forty-Six, entitled 'TIME TO GIVE IT UP?' considers the possibility that after more than 1,950 of continuous yet fruitless entreaty and prayer perhaps it time to stop asking for it. Maybe, just maybe we shouldn't be pestering G-d any longer. Those advocating this approach, suggest that at this point we leave it in Heaven's hands. Whenever Hashem decides it's time, we'll be ready and waiting they say! This sounds reasonable. And they maintain that the teachings of our Sages back them up! The Talmud clearly states that excessive prayer can have the negative consequence of making G-d look harsh and us look petty. Is there any truth to this? The Rebbe once tackled this possibly well-intended, yet entirely wrong-headed approach to the issue: Beginning with fact that the Talmudic "proof" clearly indicates its inapplicability. Explicit examples lifted from King David's prayerful entreaty in Sefer Tehillim prove that exactly the opposite is true. In fact, the structure of our Daily Prayers proves that we are obligated to continue asking for Moshiach, until we finally get the response we've been waiting for! This comprises the Forty-sixth segment of an ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

Moshiach: a Need or Luxury? is #47" of "ANTICIPATION"

29:05
Episode Forty-Seven, entitled 'MOSHIACH: A NEED OR LUXURY?' further demonstrates the fallacy of the thinking that after more than 1,950 of unanswered prayers for The Geula (the Torah-true Jewish Messianic Redemption) it might be best cease and desist, rather than continuously pestering G-d. This concludes what we began in the immediate past Episode "TIME TO GIVE IT UP." The seeming "proof" drawn from the Talmud stating that excessive prayerful entreaty can make G-d look harsh and us seem petty, is entirely misguided, as even a casual read of the very next sentence illustrates its inapplicability. In fact, the Rebbe uses a number of compelling proofs from Sefer Tehillim, and our Siddur to demonstrate the veracity of the polar opposite. In completing the said thesis, the Rebbe directs us to the clearly stated defining essence of the obligation for [Daily] Prayer itself. Once Tefillah is defined, the conclusion is inescapable. Our incessant entreaty for Moshiach's coming is not only permitted, but in fact, something we are all obligated to continue asking for until Hashem grants us the moment, we're all waiting for! This Episode comprising the Forty-seventh segment of an ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah) is dedicated to the Zechut of HaRav Dovid ben Sara Sasha, may G-d grant him vitality and length of days, Amen!

Episode Forty-Eight, entitled 'THE WOMEN OF EXODUS’ opens with Sayings of our Sages about the Spiritual Superiority of Jewish Women at the time of our National Liberation from Egypt. The Torah Truth, however, goes far beyond the teachings about the Trusting Women who historically helped break the chains and shackles of our Egyptian Exile. Instead, the dynamic nature of Feminine Faith was about Empowering the Future Generations! In this Episode we will achieve a radical new understanding of the unique abilities Hashem endowed women that can and should be harnessed to accelerate the process of Redemption and to hasten the coming of Moshiach in our time! Drawing on a wide range of classic exoteric, and esoteric Torah texts, the Rebbe methodically built a highly compelling case for today’s Jewish Women to assume their rightful role in leading Am Yisrael towards the Geula Shlaima (Messianic Redemption) today. This incredible discovery about special force of spirit woven into the fabric of Feminine Faith and Trust should inspire, motivate, and enable us all to try harder to bring Moshiach Now! This Episode comprising the Forty-Eighth segment of an ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah) is being presented on Chof Bais Shevat the Yahrzeit-Hilula of the Lubavitcher Rebbetzin, Chaya Mushka Schneerson, soulmate of our beloved Rebbe, of righteous memory.

Sep 9, 2024
52:15
Episode Forty-Nine, entitled 'AWAITING DIFFERENCE’ analyzes the famous Faith Maxin on Moshiach "And even though He may tarry, nonetheless I continue to Await His Coming each day!" To continue to be emotionally invested and be actively "Awaiting" as the time drags on is obviously counterintuitive and unnatural. Maintaining that level of anticipation will obviously take great effort, yet does it really make a practical "Difference?" Based on a brief letter The Rebbe wrote in a time of personal grief, in this Episode you'll be introduced to a range of classic Torah sources on the subject, that ultimately emerge as greater than the sum of their parts. Exquisitely weaving a redemptive faith-filled fabric of hopeful yearning for Moshiach, He makes the case that the Awaiting itself necessarily makes a Difference by serving to accelerate the process of Redemption, thereby hastening a new world order! This Episode comprising the Forty-Ninth segment of an ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

Episode Fifty, 'AWAITING DIFFERENCE - Part Two’ takes the novel understanding of the famous Faith Maxim on Moshiach: although He tarries "I will continue to Await" [His Coming] each day..." into a groundbreaking fresh field of discovery. In this second segment we will learn just how powerful taking this path of greatest resistance can be. The newfound appreciation should inspire us all to try harder to actively "Await" -- despite the obvious challenges of maintaining an unnatural emotion. Culled from the same manuscript as the previous Episode -- from which several classic (and neo classic) sources were creatively collated to prove how impactful "hopeful yearning" for Moshiach can be, here, the envelope is pushed much further. This Episode reaches deep into a related, while unique Zoharic teaching that is significantly, and profoundly illuminated in Chasidic Teachings. The result is the emergence of a stunning new picture of perfection attained through perspiration! Comprising the Fiftieth segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah), this class is dedicated l'zechut a full Refuah and long life for Chaim Mordechai ben Raizel.

Episode Fifty-One, 'unMASKing Hope' builds on the previously established Torah axioms of just how impactful and meaningful "hopeful yearning" for Moshiach can be. This brand-new Episode opens with a deep reach into the dawn of our Peoplehood. This yearning, as it turns out, is embedded into our national psyche, and has always punctuated the strata of Jewish history! Rather than birthed by exilic experiences, or born of suffering and depravation, we learn of a profound soulful desire that was already resonate at the earliest junctures of our national journey. Here we will UNMASK the incredible power of our eternal Jewish Optimism and highlight the credibility of continued anticipatory Hope in our redemptive future. Remarkably, in the Rebbe's view, the fact that the bearer of this redeeming idea was a peripatetic, pious personage of the Holy Land has added bearing on its veracity, value, and virtue. Comprising the Fifty-First segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah), this Episode is dedicated to honour the holy Neshama of Reb Michoel Dovid ben Avraham Yosef on occasion of his 45th Yahrzeit, Chai (18th of) Adar Rishon.

Episode Fifty-Two, 'ManDATE of Hope' follows the previous Episodes in which the powerful impact "hopeful yearning" for Moshiach can be was documented, clarified, and richly illustrated in novel and compelling fashion. We will now go beyond revealing the extraordinary potency vested in our eternal Jewish Optimism. Beyond, because possibility can remain but an option to exercise. The Episode presents classic Torah sources demonstrating that unleashing a redemptive force of spirit by maintaining that hope is, in fact, mandatory! As we re-visit the last major happening of King David's legendary reign, an incredible lesson for [Jewish] life comes to light in the most chilling of ways... Simply stated, it becomes crystal clear that we are Jewishly obligated to continue to kindle and nurture -- within our hearts and minds -- a flaming desire of anticipatory yearning, despite the passage of time and the increasingly remote idea of Hashem's Holy Home in Jerusalem ~ the proverbial Beit HaMikdash. Comprising the Fifty-Second segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah), this Episode is once again dedicated to honour the holy Neshama of Reb Michoel Dovid ben Avraham Yosef on occasion of his recently observed 45th Yahrzeit, Chai (18th of) Adar Rishon.

'FOOTSTEPS OF REDEMPTION' is a brand Episode in which we focus on the unique position of our generation as being the ones to herald the dawning of the new age of Moshiach. To be sure, this title is lifted out of a stirring prophetic, poetic psalmist expression; adapted and crystalized by our Sages in Mishna, Midrash and Kabbalah. The Episode presents classic Torah sources to highlight the range of meaning encoded into this exceptional euphemism. Transcending the simple understanding of identifying the final days of Galut, this term ultimately reveals the extraordinary potency vested in our unique generation. This is a stunning example of the unfurling of Torah etymology serves to reveal the unique redemptive potency vested in the hands of our greatest generation! This Episode comprises the Fifty-Third segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

'REDEMPTIVE IMPACT' continues developing the thesis opened in the previous Episode, Footsteps of Redemption about our generations unusual title "Heels" of [the age of] Moshiach. This distinctive Torah etymology served to highlight the unique superiority, and remarkable potency we possess, despite being vastly inferior to previous generations! Weaving together profound insights about the power of our [public] prayers, and the deeper meaning of having them answered, the previously portrayal of inter-generational partnership is freshly framed in a novel and inspiring fashion. Most uplifting of all, this big new idea has practical application that should uplift and encourage each of us to renew our prayerful entreaty for Redemption Now! Completing the thesis, this Episode comprises the Fifty-Fourth segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

DEMANDING IMPACT' reaches deep into the early history of our Peoplehood, drawing an instructive parallel for us about the potential impact we can make by virtue of a sincere demand for the coming of Moshiach in our time. In rhetorically questioning his own approach to the subject, the Rebbe presents past precedent to make a profound point about the possibilities we each possess today. Streams of unique Torah teachings are channeled to affect a sea-change in our understanding of what is actually expected of us. What flows forth is a fresh appreciation of the dynamic power of our prayers, and the impact Demanding Deliverance can have. This new incredible rumination is saturated with a real time lesson about a second chance that spiritually uplift and pragmatically encouraging at once. This is a lesson that should inject newfound zeal and energy into our Tefillot, and especially the regular requests for Redemption we make daily in our Davening. 'SUSTAINING IMPACT' continues to develop the special thesis about the impact we can have when we make sincere demands of Hashem. In our previous Episode, a historic biblical event sets a precedent, highlighting a Torah truism about the powerful possibilities of righteous requests and heartfelt prayers, in general, and regarding the coming of Moshiach in particular. In this new Episode the syntax as well as the repetitious nature of our daily Prayers emphasize the veracity and authenticity of this lesson lifted from a second chance - granted by G-d - in antiquity. This all, despite the great care we are told to take in keeping our Davening and prayerful entreaty concise, should serve to further energize our Tefillot for the Geula, speedily and in our days, Amen! This Episode comprises the Fifty-Sixth segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

'ENTREATING IMPACT' adds a new dimension to the previously developed thesis about the impact we can have when we make sincere demands of Hashem. In the previous two Episode, a biblical narrative is recast as a foundation basis for the concept that heartfelt prayer can change destiny. An idea that is further emphasized by both the syntax and repetitious nature of our daily Prayers. In this third Episode on the Power of Prayer, we are introduced to a range of rabbinic teachings that underscore the incredible impact prayerful entreaty can have of G-d. This serves to further underscore the ideas we've already begun to articulate about the importance of demanding redemption from Hashem, and further debunks the supposition that we leave Geula to G-d, and instead focus on the pursuit of personal spiritual success, self-actualization, and religious fulfilment! This Episode comprises the Fifty-Seventh segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

The Fifty Ninth Episode, aptly entitled 'INITIATING IMPACT' is the sixth and concluding segment of our "Impact" mini-series -- the thesis about the importance and power of heartfelt pleading for redemption drawn from the dramatic biblical narrative of Pesach Sheni's origin. In the final treatment of the subject, we will focus on the unique potency of possessed by initiation rather than responsivity, in the dynamic of our relationship with Hashem. Shabbat's serenity is self-generated, and even the scheduling of our calendar and its' holidays is reactionary and born of dependency. The "Second Passover," however, stands out in its independence and by virtue of Israel's initiation. This serves as the climatic stroke in redefinition of how we see asking G-d for Geula (Redemption from Exile by Moshiach) and should fully enable us to appreciate the power we have been given to make demands of Hashem and thereby make a world of difference. This Episode comprises the Fifty-Ninth segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

'NEEDING IMPACT' deepens and expands the meaning of our [already] developed thesis regarding the profound impact heartfelt, sincere demands of Hashem make. In the preceding "Impact" segment a range of rabbinic teachings about Tzadikim's Tefilla, further emphasized some of the ideas we had already begun to spell out. In this new Episode, we return to the concept of Prayer, by definition. By virtue of thoughtful analysis, we will lead to redefine how we view the way we ask G-d for Geula (Redemption from Exile by Moshiach). This will ultimately position us to redefine how we view our personal needs, and yearning for Moshiach's arrival altogether! This Episode comprises the Fifty-Eighth segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

Episode Sixty 'LAYING CLAIM' is the opening segment of a new mini- series. Here we make the case that -- in addition to, and beyond the eager anticipation or yearning we might feel for Moshiach's arrival -- we are required to request the Redemption. Founded on a legal precedent, established as binding Halacha in the Laws of Claims, we will focus on the requirement to lay claim to get what's rightfully yours. The Rebbe elegantly and creatively draws a parallel to illustrate our need to ask Hashem to finally end the exile and bring us home. Although firmly rooted in the fertile soil classic Torah teachings, here a new branch extends from the original trunk, producing fresh foliage of fascinating novelty -- with extremely important and practical implications. Once you learn this lesson, asking G-d for Geula (Redemption from Exile by Moshiach) and even making demands of Hashem will be taken to the next level! This Episode comprises the Sixtieth segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

Episode Sixty-One 'WHY 'LAY CLAIM' NOW?' is the second segment of a mini-series. Having previously made the case that -- beyond anticipatory yearning for Moshiach's arrival -- we must actively ask for Redemption, we move on to troubleshoot to defend and cement the logic of the thesis; finally answering the question of "why now"?! In Episode 60, LAYING CLAIM we already presented a carefully stitched quilt tapestry fusing a Halacha from the Laws of Claims with the need to ask Hashem for Moshiach. Yet, while it was solidly sewn of legal threads, one can seemingly argue that, for all its homiletic elegance, the fabric of the argument doesn't sufficiently cover the technicalities and cannot be applied in practice insofar as the Geula/final Redemption is concerned. Here, the thesis is further reinforced, and loose ends of the argument are stitched together producing durable proof of The Rebbe's novel approach, including his assurance the time for a more assertive approach had arrived. Learn this second part of the lesson, will further demonstrate the critical need for us all storm the Heavens, pleading with Hashem and Laying Claim to Geula Now! This Episode comprises the Sixty First segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah).

Episode Sixty-Two 'PROOF OF CLAIM' is the third and final segment of a mini-series. Over the past two Episodes, a compelling case was made for the idea that -- beyond established Torah norms of anticipatory yearning -- today, an active and assertive ask for Moshiach's arrival is in high order. We also clarified what changed, as in, why it may not have been like this previously. In this concluding Episode, we present immutable evidence culled from established past precedent to prove that the novelly woven tapestry fusing a Halacha from the Laws of Claims with the need to ask Hashem for Moshiach isn't that novel after all. While the thesis weaves a fresh fabric of time-honoured legal threads of Halacha and Aggadah, one cannot authentically argue that, for all its creative elegance, the arguments made don't fully wrap around the well-worn typical Torah approach. More than anything else, it represents putting into practice the pleading for the restoration of the Beit HaMikdash and Davidic sovereignty and Geula/final Redemption that is already richly documented. Here, the thesis is further reinforced in two-fold fashion, as loose ends of the argument are stitched together producing durable proof for The Rebbe's seemingly novel approach about the time for a more assertive approach having arrived. This Episode deftly completes the picture by sewing up the remaining loose ends -- and wrapping it all together. Emphasizing and underscoring just what is at stake become the final stiches to finish the embroidery. The only conclusion we can come to is the critical need for us all storm the Heavens, pleading with Hashem and laying claim to Moshiach Now! This Episode, comprising the sixty second segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula (final Redemption) referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah), concludes a three-part miniseries on making claims and demands for the Geula.

This Episode, aptly entitled TRUTH and JUSTICE, concludes the Fourth approach to understanding why our "Written Word" [of G-d, e. g. The Bible] pointedly doesn't explicitly mention neither Heaven nor Hell! The final offering of the Fourth Dimension, comprising 'Bitachon Preamble IX' of our series, zeroes in on explaining Punishment in the Afterlife to complete this unique line of reasoning for the biblical Gag-order on Gan Eden and Gehinnom. From the previous two Episodes that discussed the concept of Divine Remuneration, we now move onto to Divine Retribution. This will complete the explanation for the glaring biblical omission of what awaits us in the World to Come! While in this set of classes we aren't directly addressing the subject of Bitachon, the ideas articulated are an important part of laying the foundation that'll allow us to continue to develop Trust in a specific dimension of our lives. Bitachon Preamble XI, entitled {PROOF} follows up with our immediate past Episode in which we Plead the Fifth! In this 56th segment of the fourth chapter we carefully examine Rabbeinu Bachaya's offering of proof for his Pleading the Fifth to explain the Biblical Gag Order on Gan Eden and Gehinnom by contextualizing things in the frame of public vs private. Simply stated: drawing differentiation between Mitzvot of high visibility and those undetectable or shrouded in secrecy is perfectly rational -- substantiating that differentiation from the scripture itself is another matter altogether! After all, how could we find proof in words of scripture, when the scriptural silence or absence of words is the very issue to begin with! It's worthy to again note that while these "Bitachon Preambles" doesn't directly address the subject of Trust per se. The ideas will comprise the requisite foundation to ultimately build Trust effectively -- in a very specific dimension of our lives. THE ULTIMATE GIFT is the Final Word on the surprising omission of Heavenly Reward from the Tanach, our Jewish Bible. Here, we will complete the development and full articulation of Rabbeinu Bachaya's unique and wide-ranging theological rational behind the biblical blackout on on Gan Eden and Gehinnom that has already spanned 12 (!) Episodes -- spelling it out six separate dimensions. Bitachon Preamble XIII completes the circle by clarifying G-d’s greatest gift and the ultimate reward; to cleave to G-d and be absorbed into His proverbial "light" -- a euphemism for the eternal bliss available only in the afterlife! Yet, beyond the Soul basking in the G-d's Glory and Radiance -- here we will once emphasize that Heavenly Remuneration is resultant of Divine Grace and Favor, rather than a simple Quid Pro Quo type equation. With the completion of these "Bitachon Preambles" we have formed the theological foundation upon which we can now effectively build our edifice of Trust in Hashem. The Bible] pointedly doesn't explicitly mention neither Heaven nor Hell! From the previous two Episodes that discussed the concept of Divine Remuneration, we now move onto to Divine Retribution. This will complete the explanation for the glaring biblical omission of what awaits us in the World to Come! The 55th segment of Chapter Four details yet a fifth approach to making sense of the glaring biblical omission of Paradise and Purgatory! This Episode features the Seventh Distinction Epilogue; the fourth and final segment on the seventh Trust Differences which also concludes the chapter on the profound distinctions between a living infused with Bitachon, vs a life bereft of it. Entitled "CHEATING DEATH," it's the climax of what we've already mapped out over the course of the past three episodes. With it, we wind down on the practical, and positive differentiation Trust makes, with a jarring postscript on Trust-less Living. This Tenth Segment completes the full gamut of differences that this chapter features, with a study of opposites that depicts wrong-headed priorities faithlessly embraced. The last of the listed differences between those who do, or don’t live with Trust is now most vividly illustrated in the subconscious choice made to ignore one's mortality. This inevitably leads a person to foolishly view materiality, and the here and now, as eternal. And, as one bad choice leads the next – thereby he forgets life’s true purpose altogether. Sadly, people's obsession with their immediate self-gratification causes them to squander their own happiness in the exchange. Here, you'll see how mindfulness about mortality, and Trust in Hashem enables living with inner peace despite the many challenges and difficulties life throws at us. This Tenth and final Episode of the Fifth Chapter of "Sha'ar HaBitachon" comprises the 145th consecutive video designed to teach you how and why you should nurture Trust in G-d to Conquer Anxiety. Forever!

As we enter the third dimension of seven pragmatic Trust Distinctions, we move to transcend attitudes, feelings, and the nature of our relationship with G-d. Episode Three of the Fifth Chapter, entitled "SAME DIFFERENCE" presents the next big difference between possessing Bitachon or not. For although the course of action may seem identical, a world of difference will ultimately emerge! From here onward, Rabbeinu Bachaya will clearly demonstrate how Trust mindfulness invariably manifests itself into a behavioral path that includes actions engendered as well. Resultantly, an enhanced quality of Life is engendered by the Bitachon one has. This is new dimension is inaugurated with an illustration of the inner transformation of our expectations and perspective of this like vocation, financial pursuit, or efforts to heal. The Trust that nests in our heart and provides us effective mechanisms to employ to achieve those same actions in extremely very disparate fashion. Take three of this seven-headed discovery, moves us onto a fresh range of possibilities to live more calmly and peacefully -- all directly brought about by an awareness of the Torah truth distilled into heartfelt Bitachon in Hashem. This third segment of the Fifth Chapter of "Sha'ar HaBitachon" comprises the 138th consecutive video about nurturing Trust in G-d and learning how to Conquer Anxiety. Forever!
