Shmuel Tzvi Adler grew up in Baltimore, where he spent nearly all of his high school and yeshiva years learning at Ner Yisroel. His father, a dedicated 10th-grade Rebbe at the yeshiva for decades, recently retired. After yeshiva, Shmuel began his career in the food industry, first as a cook for a yeshiva. During that time, he married his amazing and talented wife, Nechama (née Eizik) from Monsey. He later worked in catering and eventually became a chef in a nursing home. After about five years in the culinary field, Shmuel transitioned into healthcare administration, becoming a billing specialist at Centers Health Care, a large nursing home company, working from its corporate office in the Bronx. Simcha Greiniman, a 47-year-old husband, father of five, and grandfather of four, has dedicated over three decades to ZAKA, Israel’s premier volunteer emergency response and humanitarian aid organization. As the Deputy Commander of ZAKA Modi'in Illit, Simcha has played a crucial role in search and rescue missions, international disaster relief, and the sacred duty of kavod ha’met (respect for the deceased). In addition to his volunteer work, Simcha is a skilled carpenter and designer, owning a furniture factory in Modi'in Illit, where he resides with his family. Despite the demands of his profession, he has remained steadfast in his ZAKA responsibilities, responding to emergencies in Israel and abroad. Founded in 1995, ZAKA (Hebrew acronym for Disaster Victim Identification) has become Israel’s leading non-governmental rescue and recovery organization, with over 4,000 volunteers on call 24/7. Its volunteers, many of whom come from medical and emergency response backgrounds, work closely with security forces to respond to terrorist attacks, natural disasters, mass casualty incidents, and humanitarian crises worldwide. Rebbetzin Sarah Feldbrand, an only child of Holocaust survivors, is the proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of an extended family. While raising several sons and one daughter, she also managed to educate girls and women as a teacher and later a principal in various seminaries and adult education programs. Throughout this time she continued to grow her knowledge of torah sources by never teaching the same topic for more than two years. Once her children were grown, she used any available opportunity to write and has authored over 37 books, of various genres, most of which focus on personal growth. These works draw from a diversity of Torah sources, which provide keys to achieving optimal emotional well-being. When she isn’t busy with her family, she writes.
