Shani Gerlitz is a physician assistant and a certified chaplain in the United States Chaplain Corps. She has always had a deep love for learning and sharing Torah. She has given several shiurim at the Shaaray Tefila Tea and Torah and she has also hosted challah bake, Tu b’shvat and Purim presentations for Northwell Jewish BERG from her kitchen. She is the creator and host of "Medrash Mommy", a weekly parsha podcast on and is in the middle of her third cycle of completing nach yomi. Shani lives in Lawrence, LI with her husband and four sons. She has always found great joy in spending whatever free time she has connecting with people and sharing fascinating insights into Torah.
