Oh how I loved my silver menorah Unfortunately so did my ex-cleaning lady Leora I got a new one at the store without having to give any money Just my right kidney My old cups in my new silver menorah fit like a glove That is too small "My morah taught me how to pour oil in the Menorah" said my 4 year old with conviction But he missed and poured it on my pants. I'm definitely not paying anymore tuition. I said to myself I dont need wick holders for my chanukah lights I bent the wicks myself and it only took 4 minutes ...and 5 nights. Everyone walking outside is able to see my menorah in the window clearly If that dumpster wasn't blocking the view completely While I wait for my family-I light the shamesh and hold it in my hand I feel warm because its chanukah a holiday so grand Or maybe from the hot wax dripping onto my hand My kids found their presents and boy did they whine  Because They're my old socks in wrapping paper worth less than a dime As I light the Menora it is quite magnificent If you call the flames rising to the ceiling magnificent But in 3 seconds-the fire wont destroy anything i have no doubt Because by then as you all know all the candles will go OUT.
