The stories are told by Rabbi Moshe Yaakov Edelman. Rabbi Edelman learned in kollelim in Passaic (2), Ner Yisroel Baltimore (1), Mir Yerushalayim (14), Yad Shaul Johannesburg (13) and currently serves as Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Gevuras Ari in Baltimore, Maryland. Among his extensive teaching experience, Rabbi Edelman served as Mashgiach in Yeshivas Bais Yisroel, Neve Yaakov for 7 years before becoming a favorite rebbe in the Johannesburg Cheder for 12 years. Rebbes Derech Stories are Rabbi Edelman‘s adaptation of the nationwide Project Derech program. Project Derech teaches the pleasant ways of Hichos Kavod, Yirah, and Derech Eretz al pi Torah. For the past three decades, this program has changed the lives of Torah schoolchildren and their families. Medrash Morsels are primarily based on Medrash Tanchuma.
