Rabbi Adam Aranov received his Smicha after years of learning in the Jerusalem Kollel under Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits. Following his time in Eretz Yisrael, he served in rabbinic and educational roles in Rochester, New York, including as assistant rabbi at Congregation Light of Israel and as a rebbe at Hillel Community Day School. Over time, Rabbi Aranov expanded his work beyond the classroom, bringing Torah into broader arenas of leadership, community building, and professional life. Now based in Chicago, he is a writer, educator, and chazzan who teaches Torah to diverse audiences through shiurim, public lectures, and long-form essays. Rabbi Aranov is the founder of The Gibor (thegibor.org), a platform dedicated to building men of strength, clarity, and avodas Hashem. Through raw Torah-driven writing, audio content, and practical guidance, The Gibor calls men to reject mediocrity and step into disciplined spiritual growth. His work blends Torah wisdom, Chassidus, Mussar, and lived experience into a message aimed at forging inner strength and enduring commitment. The Gibor pushes men to conquer their nature, build inner strength, and serve Hashem with backbone. No applause. No comfort culture. Just the work. If you’re looking for inspiration, there are many places to find it. If you’re ready to build... please step inside.
