Amazon has a fascinating message printed on some of its trucks: “Warning: Contents May Cause Happiness.”But is happiness really found inside the things we buy? There’s another Amazon phrase that caught my attention: “That thing you wanted? It’s right in here.” And it reminded me of a powerful teaching from Rebbe Nachman of Breslov in Sichos HaRan: the yetzer hara holds out its hand as if to say, “What you’re looking for is right here.” We spend so much time believing that the next thing, purchase, achievement, or experience will finally make us happy — only to discover that when the hand opens, there’s nothing there. On the yahrtzeit of Rebbe Nachman, this message takes on special meaning.Sukkos is Zman Simchaseinu — the time of our happiness. And perhaps the secret is that true happiness doesn't come from having more things in our hands. It comes from recognizing Whose hands we are in.The Sukkah reminds us that we are surrounded, embraced, and protected by Hashem. That's where genuine simcha is found.A Sukkos message about Amazon, the yetzer hara, Rebbe Nachman, and discovering where happiness really comes from.L'ilui nishmas Rebbe Nachman ben Feige — זכותו יגן עלינו.Subscribe and hit the bell to see new videos!!!#lifelessons #torah #selfgrowth #jewish #rabbi #wisdom #jewishwisdom #chumash #parsha #purpose #chassidus #emunah #inspiration #jewishinspiration #torahlife #mussar
