Shoshana works extensively with women dealing with issues related to codependency and addictions such as shopping addiction, reading addiction, romance, sex addiction, food- and exercise- related addictions, screen addictions, and anything else you can be addicted to, which is just about anything. Shoshana lectures on addiction prevention and gives workshops to teachers, mental health professionals, and parents. Shoshana is also an EFT advanced practitioner, a therapeutic horseback riding instructor, the author of 5 books. 4 of them are novels. The 5th and most recent book, Grab the Reins, recounts Shoshana’s work both in Retorno where she trained and worked, and in her private practice. The book also tells the story of six of the women with whom she worked, as they narrate their own journeys. Shoshana trained and worked in Retorno for 8 years as an addictions counselor and as the intake coordinator for English speakers seeking help. Shoshana has been married for over 30 years, and she has 8 children and 4 grandchildren. She’s originally from Long Island, NY. In addition to his work as a clinical psychologist, he teaches and provides workshops on topics related to Judaism, psychology, and mindfulness in academic and community settings. He has been trained by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), and is a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT). After successful patient outcomes, he moved into multiple management roles. Moshe served as Corporate Director of Clinical Programing for Sunspireheath, a national network of 10 residential treatment facilities and was tasked with ensuring clinical fidelity and oversight of quality treatment protocols across the network. Moshe is the Founder and Director of ONWARD LIVING a Jewish Treatment Facility based in Boca Raton FL.
