A tremendous amount of people are suffering terribly right now. The loss of a loved one can be unbearable. And it brings to mind my own losses. My dear brother Ari's Yartzeit was in February, and my dear brother Yisroel's Yartzeit is on Pesach. Yisroel and his Kallah Elisheva were killed in a car crash on this date, April 4. Somehow, I was never able to come up with a song for either of them. I tried, but nothing felt right. I saw a video this week of a healthcare worker crying. A child had passed out crying because her father had died from the virus, and now her mother was taken into the hospital. I couldn't handle it. It tore my heart out. And words started coming to me, and I wrote this song. Please, if you know someone that lost a loved one, do anything you can to comfort them.
