Meet Avraham Rosenblum Meet Avraham Rosenblum
Meet Avraham Rosenblum, founder of the Diaspora Yeshiva Band, pioneered Jewish rock by blending rock, blues, and Chassidic melodies. A product of the '60s counterculture, he became religious, moved to Israel, and formed the band in the 1970s at the Diaspora Yeshiva in Jerusalem. His music, including classics like Malchutcha and Hafachta Mispedi, continues to inspire Jewish musicians worldwide.
