It’s difficult to grasp that what we endure in life serves as a sacrifice for a greater purpose. The challenge lies in the hardships and pain, but there is a much larger plan at work. We hope that our struggles will contribute to something far beyond our personal lives.
When rehearsing, I asked the girls what this song meant to them. Eliana, with her bright and strong demeanor, shared a unique perspective. She said, “We don’t always understand our own challenges, nor do we see the beautiful things that people do privately to support each other. We hope that collectively, all our pain and, most importantly, all our mitzvot will come together as a whole. It’s not just one piece or one broken heart; rather, all the pieces will unite, and we will merit Geulah.”
