There are moments in davening that call for deeper connection, when the words themselves reach upward, yearning for closeness with Hashem. "Mimkomcha" is one of those moments. This nigun was composed with that feeling in mind. Soulful and stirring, it’s intended to be sung in shul during the most elevated times, the moments of longing, of kavana, of dveikus.
