In the years leading up to the wedding, the chusen endured a severe illness and at one point was dangerously close to losing his life. Through tremendous tefillos, the strength of family and friends, and the kindness of Hashem, he merited a remarkable recovery. Standing beneath the chuppah on the day of his wedding, the moment carried a depth of emotion that words alone could hardly capture.
