In a superb performance, shot in the breathtaking landscapes and forests of Costa Rica, the beloved and nostalgic song / story "Yakob" that took place in far away Uzbekistan, comes alive again. The story of the life and the heroism of the late R’ Yankel Potash is soul stirring and heart warming. The well known melody was written by the legendary Reb Yom Tov Ehrlich and was originally performed about 3 decades ago by Avraham Fried. Enjoy the clip featuring many favorites from the jewish music world. It is sung by Avraham Fried and accompanied by the Narnana Choir. All musical arrangements are done by the talented Avromi Berko. On the Saxephone we have Zvi Goldring. Vocals arranged by Yaakov Rosemarin. The project was Directed and edited by Nati Elbar and photographed by Nachman Elbar. The performance is further enhanced by the special effects of sand painting by guest artist Aharon Zev Bernstein.
