When I wrote "Back to YOU', for the first time I didn't have any specific memory attached to it. Before releasing the song, I sang it once in front of a large, live audience. At the end, one of the women who came to thank and congratulate me told me something I will never forget. She told me that she had recently lost her young son. She was blessed to be holding her new addition when she told me that she had come to the concert praying that she would hear a song that would give her strength through this difficult time; a song that she could connect to on a deep level.
