Sometimes when I sit down to write and the time is right, I get lost in my thoughts and feel like the lyric is writing itself. To achieve the state of mind necessary to write what I really want, requires me to separate from any attachment I may have to worldly things. When I say in this song "You have to be brave to create" I'm referring to this detachment and any fear or concern that while I'm creating the world might pass me by.
