I'm honored to present my music video of "Shema," a song originally performed by Yaakov Shwekey that has always held a special place in my heart. As a proud granddaughter of four Holocaust survivors, this video is dedicated to their memory and the stories they can no longer share with us. Today Rosh Chodesh Sivan, marks the Yartzeit of my grandfather, Yechiel Shraga ben Menachem Gershon, who not only survived the atrocities of the Auschwitz Death Camps but also lived to become a courageous warrior. Through my rendition of "Shema," I aim to pay tribute to him and all my grandparents, celebrating their strength and resilience in the face of unimaginable adversity. May their legacy continue to inspire future generations.
