On the 60th Anniversary of the 1st Pirchei Record (1964 - hard to believe!) I am happy to release my new album where I've joined forces with my younger self to sing harmonies & melody along with my original solos. As a boy soloist I sang on the 1st two Pirchei records and had the זכות to sing some classic tunes like Eilecha, Mi Ho'ish, Ve'Hoyo Ba'Yom Ha'Hu and others, as well as to perform with icons of Jewish music - Ben Zion Shenker and Chazan Moshe Koussevitzky. One of the recordings on the album, Mi She'Assa Nissim, was actually taken from a live Koussevitzky concert and is presented here for the first time. All in all there are 13 songs on the album with new vocals, harmonies and musical arrangements by Yisroel Lamm (isn't he the best!). I used much of the original music and vocals to give the "baby boomers' a feeling of nostalgia while at the same time updating the songs for the younger generation. Hope you enjoy!!
