Shira’s piano journey began at just five years old, when the keys became her playground and her imagination took the lead. The low notes were monsters, the high ones were babies—and the stories flowed effortlessly from her tiny hands. Years later, Shira has cultivated a rare gift: the ability to improvise beautiful, fully formed melodies on the spot—no preparation, no sheet music, just pure expression. For years, the challenge was how to capture these spontaneous creations. Now, with GarageBand and a simple plug-in, she’s found a way to share her unique sound with the world. Some of Shira’s songs are fully composed and include lyrics. As an Orthodox Jewish woman, she adheres to the tradition of kol isha, which means her vocal tracks are intended for female audiences only. These albums are clearly labeled to reflect that commitment.
