Ari (Aryeh) Fraser was born and raised during his early years in the Old City neighborhood of Jerusalem, Israel. His American/Israeli parents (Zeev and Sarah) raised him and his family in various Orthodox religious communities in and around Jerusalem, where he attended grade school, high school, and later studied at Talmudic College (Yeshiva). At the age of 18, Ari joined the Israeli Army (known as the IDF) as a combat soldier. After completing his first combat tour in the IDF, Ari attended and completed an IDF Commanders Training Program. From there he became one of the first founders and commanders of the MCHSAR ( a special army tactical team known as RIMON) which was stationed at that time in the BIKA VALLEY, located in central Israel. Ari was honored for his army service, and during the course of that service he received several medals and commendations. In particular, he was recognized for his contributions during the Second Lebanon War, as well as other operations he was involved with. After completing his army service and being honorably discharged, Ari embarked on a world tour which eventually landed him in Miami, Florida. There he met his wife Tiffany. Since then, they have settled in Hollywood Florida, and from there they are pursuing a variety of personal, communal, and professional projects around the globe, as well as tending to the upbringing of their three beautiful children. In addition to his musical pursuits, Ari is a business owner and investor. As to Ari’s musical development, he began singing at an early age as a Chazzan or Cantor, by leading daily prayer services in local synagogues. Throughout his childhood he also joined and sang in various local choirs, and continued to explore his love for music in these forums. As an adult Ari began composing, writing and performing his original melodies for various different community events and during Shabbat and High Holidays prayer services in different localities. In more recent times, when his busy schedule allows, Ari appears for live musical events and performances including weddings and other festive gatherings and shows. Ari also particularly enjoys sharing his cantorial skills with friends, neighbors and fellow congregants at the Young Israel of Hollywood West. There he can be heard singing soulfully during most Shabbat and High Holiday services. Ari’s professional undertakings began initially in 2010, with the release of a number of his own original Hebrew songs, melodies, and compositions that he produced. After taking a long break from those early productions to focus on family and other personal and professional pursuits, Ari is now back with a new album of Hebrew originals called: “Shema Israel.” The first single on the album is titled “Mekimi”, which was released worldwide in October of 2022. The song has been widely acclaimed both in Israel and around the world for it’s unique style and innovative synthesis of genres. A product of collaboration between Ari and two of the most popular music producers on the Israeli music scene today (Tomer Ajam and Ron Aviv), Mekimi is being universally celebrated for its popularity in the Israeli music community. According to acclaimed reviewers this first release from the album has already become one of the most popular holiday songs of 2022. Ari is preparing to release the complete album in the coming months, and is hoping to be able to begin sharing his music at live performances beginning in the Summer of 2023.
