Ten years. Eleven IVF retrievals. Sixteen transfers. Six miscarriages. For a decade the answer was always no, and Tamar and Gideon Ben Tzvi never stopped holding on to each other and to Hashem. This is what waiting really looks like, and what it looks like when the wait finally ends. Please note: this conversation is intended for adults. Tamar and Gideon speak very openly about their infertility journey. ✬ SPONSORS ✬ ► ATIME: You Are Not Alone ATIME was the first organization in the country dedicated to supporting couples on the family-building journey, and they're still leading the way. Rebbetzin Sara Yocheved Rigler spent 15 years living in an ashram. She meditated three times a day, taught Vedanta & Hindu philosophy, and served as personal secretary to the guru. She went east searching for G-d. Then one conversation with an Orthodox rabbi turned her whole world upside down. 8 months later, she was studying Torah in Jerusalem. Today she is one of the most widely read Jewish authors alive and a world class Torah teacher. We spoke about those 15 years in the ashram, a life altering (and reincarnation) experience around her fear of having children, and what she found in Judaism that 15 years of Eastern spirituality never gave her. ► BF Design: Building Our Communities BF Design has spent 20 years building Lakewood's shuls, schools, and homes, and they're now doing the same in growing communities across the country.
