Being a part of the Jewish people enables us to draw from a wealth of spiritual heritage, customs, and beliefs passed down for generations. We constantly connect to our rich history through prayer, study, and observance of mitzvot (commandments). This connection is felt deeply in our hearts when we pray or perform an act of goodness. Something is fulfilling about performing an action done throughout Jewish history that connects you with your ancestors. WIt'se is building on their legacy as they once did on their forefathers' legacy before them. In today's short torah talk, we delve into an eye-opening insight from Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin (20 November 1816 in Mir, Russia – 10 August 1893 in Warsaw, Poland), also known as Reb Hirsch Leib Berlin, commonly known by the acronym Netziv.Support the show ---------------- SUBSCRIBE to The Weekly Parsha for an insightful weekly shiur on the Parsha of the week. Call Home (The Fifth Commandment)

Apr 29, 2023

3:45

The fifth commandment of the Aseres Hadibros says, “Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord they God giveth thee” (Exodus 20:12). This commandment is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago. We should always honor our parents and show them respect, regardless of their age or feelings.Honoring your parents means more than saying “please” and “thank you.” It includes being aware of their needs and offering help whenever possible. It also involves listening to them and taking their advice seriously. Respect for our parents can help us grow into responsible adults with a strong sense of morality.Honoring our parents can also bring us closer to God. When we respect our parents, we respect the one who created them — namely, God himself. We should always strive to be an excellent example for others and honor our parents as part of that effort. This is a way of recognizing their importance in our lives and thanking God for everything they have done for us and given us. You're A Gadol. Deal With It.

Apr 25, 2023

In total, Rebbe Akiva had 24,000 students who were devoted to him and devoted to the Almighty. However, tragedy struck when a plague killed all 24,000 students. This was a massive blow to Rebbe Akiva and Jewish tradition, as it meant that much knowledge would be lost with the passing of these great students. Despite this tragedy, Rebbe Akiva continued to teach Torah and was able to pass his teachings on to future generations. His story is a testament to the strength and resilience of Judaism in the face of adversity. The loss of his 24,000 students was tragic, but their memory will continue to live on for centuries to come. Rebbe Akiva's story is an important reminder that we should never give up our faith, no matter how difficult it may become. His example of courage and devotion to Judaism is one we should strive to emulate in our lives. Is It Kosher? (Season 4!)

Apr 20, 2023

3:57

Welcome to The Motivation Congregation Season Four! In today's episode: Kosher food has long been part of Jewish life and is essential to a kosher lifestyle. But what does it mean to live a "kosher" life? To ensure that our lives align with the principles and laws outlined in the Torah, we must remain aware of how daily decisions can affect us spiritually. This means being conscious and conscientious when choosing which foods to eat and looking out for spiritual signs that guide us to ensure our lifestyles are kosher. These signs can be found everywhere – both outside and inside ourselves. They provide insight into who we want to be as individuals, helping us better understand our greater purpose in life. By taking the time to understand and observe these signs, we can ensure that our lives remain in line with what is considered kosher. Hashem Saves In The Blink Of An Eye

Apr 17, 2023

3:07

We often witness Hashem's hand in the extraordinary and unexpected. We are reminded of the milestones that G-d has performed and continues to perform for us daily. The splitting of the Red Sea is one such momentous event - when it would seem impossible to escape from an enemy advancing upon them, G-d parted the sea so they could march through safely on dry land. The Torah speaks of how miraculous salvation happens even quicker than the blink of an eye (Shmot 14:30). It was "in a split second," as Rashi puts it, that Hashem saved Am Yisrael from specific danger. This highlights two important points about our relationship with G-d. First, Hashem always provides us with salvation and support when needed. And second, Hashem's power is dynamic and instantaneous - our prayers are answered in a split second by an omnipotent force. We must never forget the miracles that G-d has done for us in our lives, those of generations past and those yet to come. We can take comfort in knowing that no matter what challenges or obstacles arise on our journey through life, Hashem will be there at every step to lend us aid and guidance. May we all continue to experience the power of miraculous salvations "in a split second." Amen!My Favorite Podcasts Right Now:1. The Torah's View on Competition (Pesach Takeaway)

Apr 14, 2023

3:41

Competition gives us a unique perspective on the world, gives us a sense of accomplishment, and can be incredibly rewarding. The Torah teaches us that completion is essential and should not be taken lightly. We must strive to improve ourselves to reach our full potential while never using competition as an excuse to bring another person down. The ancient Jewish sages taught that success comes from hard work and dedication rather than taking shortcuts or belittling others. Completing tasks that are meaningful to us will result in growth and development both mentally and spiritually. Achieving something reminds us of our capabilities, opening new possibilities for additional accomplishments. In addition to providing a sense of accomplishment, completing tasks can also create a connection between ourselves and God. By actively striving to achieve our goals, we demonstrate that we believe in the greatness of something greater than ourselves. The Torah says, “You shall serve the Lord your God with all your heart and soul” (Deuteronomy 10:12). This verse emphasizes the importance of hard work and dedication to show reverence for something bigger than us. After centuries of enslavement and oppression, the sea miraculously split, allowing the Jewish people to escape the clutches of their oppressors. This divinely-orchestrated miracle offered a path to freedom that seemed impossible before. Walking across dry land, they were filled with hope for a better future. Sefiras HaOmer Mindset

Apr 9, 2023

4:26

Jews still mark the days between Passover and Shavuot in a "Counting of the Omer." The period of 49 days counted is known as the "Omer period" or "the Omer." Each day, Jews recite a special blessing in the synagogue or at home. During this counting period, there are various customs that many Jewish communities observe, such as refraining from haircuts, getting married, and even listening to music. According to Maharal, there is a symbolic contrast between the omer offering (offered on Passover) and the Shavuos sacrifice provided upon the conclusion of the omer. The former consists of barley, typically an animal food, and represents the Israelites' low and passive spiritual level immediately upon leaving Egypt; In contrast, the latter consists of wheat and represents the Israelites' high and active spiritual level upon receiving the Torah. So many vital ideas are applicable in our spiritual ascent, and in this short shiur, we focus on an often overlooked character trait.Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. Pesach Seder With The Family Or The Chofetz Chaim?

Apr 3, 2023

3:24

Seder night is the highlight of Pesach for many Jewish families, but it can be challenging to keep children excited and engaged in the rituals. The key is to make it fun and interactive. Here are some tips on how to keep your children enthused throughout the evening: 1. Tell stories – Telling stories is a great way to help children better understand the meaning behind Seder night. Choose stories or parables that relate directly to Pesach, such as why we eat matzah or cover our eyes during the Haggadah prayer. 2. Include kids’ songs – Children often find traditional music dull, so introduce upbeat kids’ tunes and classic Pesach melodies. Ask everyone to join in and sing, creating a more relaxed and joyous atmosphere. 3. Utilize games – Introduce creative games into your Seder night activities, such as charades or word puzzles related to Pesach themes. You can even make up your own game! 4. Set out special treats – Give children something to look forward to by setting out a plate of special yummy snacks just for them (e.g., chocolate coins). Not only will it keep their attention and curiosity piqued, but it’s also an excellent way for kids to learn about different Pesach symbols like maror and haroset. 5. Ask questions – Keep children actively engaged by asking questions throughout the Seder night. These can range from simple ones, such as why we eat matzah, to more complex ones, regarding the deeper meaning of Pesach. Make sure to involve everyone in the discussion and ask each person to share their thoughts and ideas. Following these tips ensures that your family’s Pesach seder night is meaningful and enjoyable for everyone! With some effort and creativity, it can be an exciting evening that your children will never forget. Enjoy!Consider adding this exciting bag of Pesach Seder props to bring your Seder to life!Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. The Pesach Seder With Rav Hutner

Apr 2, 2023

3:03

It was the night of Pesach, and the family had gathered together for their Seder. The house was filled with laughter and conversations as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends arrived to celebrate. As they took their places at the table, they began to sing songs of gratitude and praise while they feasted on matzo ball soup, brisket, and kugel. The youngest grandchild proudly read out the four Hebrew questions enthusiastically. Everyone smiled, marveling at his recitation. The youngest then proceeded to open up the Haggadah as all eyes fixed upon him. He turned the pages slowly and read each statement aloud that represented a part of the great Exodus story. Then, family members around the table shared stories of their ancestors before them and how those individuals had gone through difficult times in life. It was a fun-filled night enjoyed by all involved as every family member retired contentedly, knowing that Pesach's timeless message had been passed down for generations. What are your fond memories of Pesach with the family?Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. We Used To Be Slaves To Pharaoh In Egypt, But Now We Are Free Men (Addiction)

Mar 29, 2023

4:14

The Jewish holiday of Pesach, or Passover, is a time to celebrate freedom. It commemorates the Israelites’ liberation from slavery in Egypt, but it also serves as a reminder that we can all be free from bad habits and behaviors. Pesach is the perfect time to reflect on our freedoms and how we can use them to make positive life changes. We can start by recognizing the destructive habits holding us back and then taking steps to break them. This could include anything from unhealthy eating patterns to procrastination or even addiction. It’s important to remember that breaking bad habits isn’t easy, and it takes time and dedication. Having a support system of friends and family who understand what you’re going through and can help keep you motivated is also helpful.Additionally, it may be beneficial to seek professional help if needed. By celebrating Pesach, we can remind ourselves of the power of freedom and use it as an opportunity for personal growth. We can take this time to reflect on our own lives, identify areas where we need improvement, and commit ourselves to make meaningful changes for the better. You can purchase Rabbi Twerski's Z"l Haggadah hereSupport the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. A World Where You Can Fly (Parsha)

Mar 28, 2023

4:15

In the world of spirituality, material things are not as important within this realm. Here the focus is on spiritual growth and understanding; knowledge, wisdom, and compassion are held in higher regard than material possessions. The power of love, kindness, forgiveness, and understanding far outweighs any tangible item or accomplishment. This spiritual world brings an appreciation for life and all its beauty - the natural wonders, animals, plants, and people that inhabit it. Although there may be moments of joy due to physical successes or acquisitions, true lasting happiness comes from within; through deepening our connection with our inner being and our creator. We can manifest true lasting contentment by embracing a deeper understanding of ourselves. We can move towards a more fulfilling and satisfying life by focusing on spiritual development rather than short-lived physical successes. In the world of eternal spirituality, we are always on a journey, learning and growing from every experience. Here is where true transformation lies; by building our connection with our inner selves and spiritual being, we can thrive in this realm of eternal spirituality. In conclusion, in the world of ruchniyus, material things are not viewed as superior or given higher priority than spiritual matters. True lasting happiness comes from within, so it’s essential to cultivate wisdom, knowledge, and compassion over any physical gain or achievement. The key to experiencing eternal joy is embracing a deeper relationship with ourselves and our creator. Doing this allows us to find true bliss, even amid a chaotic and unpredictable world. The spiritual journey ahead is filled with infinite possibilities, so let’s cherish every moment to explore it deeply and discover its wonders. By doing this, we can move ever closer to living a life full of joy and fulfillment. Let us open our hearts and minds to see what awaits us in the world of eternal spirituality and connection with Hashem!Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. Pesach 2023

Mar 27, 2023

4:01

Passover, or Pesach in Hebrew, is a Jewish holiday commemorating the Israelites' liberation from slavery in ancient Egypt. It is celebrated for seven days, with the first and last days being special holidays. On the first night of Passover, Jews gather around the table to celebrate freedom and tell the story of their ancestors' exodus from Egypt. The first night of Pesach is an integral part of the holiday. During this time, families come together to share a meal known as a Seder. This meal includes traditional foods such as matzah (unleavened bread), charoset (a sweet mixture of apples and nuts), and maror (bitter herbs). As they eat, family members take turns reading from a book called the Haggadah which tells the story of how God freed the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. At each stage of the Seder, special rituals are performed to remind us of our ancestors' journey out of Egypt. For example, during karpas (the vegetable course), we dip parsley into salt water to symbolize tears shed by those enslaved in Egypt. The night of Pesach is about remembering our past and looking forward to our future. We use this time to reflect on what it means to be free and how we can work towards achieving freedom today. We also make sure that everyone at our table feels included by inviting guests so they can learn more about our culture and history. The night of Pesach is an opportunity to unite as a community and celebrate freedom while reflecting on our shared history as Jews. Whether celebrating with your family or attending a Seder with friends, it will surely be an unforgettable experience!Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. What Is The Month Of Nissan All About?

Mar 23, 2023

3:51

The celebration of the Jewish month of Nissan is an integral part of the Jewish faith and culture, and it brings joy to many families each year. It marks the first month of the new Hebrew year. This time is filled with family gatherings, meaningful rituals, spiritual reflection, and a reminder that God will always be there for his people. All these reasons make Nissan an exceptional season for all Jews around the world. With so many different opportunities at our disposal during this month, what should we focus on? Published close to 250 years ago by Rav Alexander Ziskind of Horodna, Sefer Yesod VeShoresh HaAvodah outlines the kavanos and the intentions we should have before performing any mitzvah. It also brilliantly describes the intensity and kavanos we should have in our prayers and the deeper meaning of specific tefillos. Rav Shach on Small Aleph in Vayikra (Parshas Vayikra)

Mar 22, 2023

3:43

Rav Shach explains that when Moshe wrote the word Vayikra, he used a small aleph as part of the word. He explains that this was to teach us an important lesson. By making the aleph smaller than the other letters, Rav Shach shows us that we must be humble and realize our smallness in relation to Hashem. This is why it is written "Vayikra" with a small Aleph - Hashem called unto Moses" - because even though Moshe was on a very high spiritual level, he still employed new tactics to fight the Yetzer Hara every single day. By emphasizing this humbleness through the size of the letter, Moshe teaches us all a timeless lesson.Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. Ready. Set. Action.

Mar 21, 2023

2:23

The Torah is a book of life; its teachings are meant to bring joy and fulfillment to our lives. The mitzvos (commandments) were given to help us grow spiritually. Still, sometimes it can be hard to understand how something seemingly mundane such as donning tefillin or tying tzitzit, can have spiritual significance. But through connection, light and holiness infuse even the simplest of actions. When we take the mantles of these mitzvos, we create a special bond between G-d and us – a relationship that surpasses mere understanding. Even though leather may seem unlikely for this purpose, it is a seemingly dry callous material. Yet, tefillin can become a vessel of holiness, a connection to something more significant. The power of creation is seen in every aspect of our lives – from the most subtle details of daily life to the grandest moments. When we participate in these mitzvos, we open ourselves up to receive G-d's divine love and understanding, allowing us to experience true joy and fulfillment. This is a secret of creation. Through this humble act of tying leather straps around our arms or forehead, we create an eternal bond between Hashem and us – a lasting relationship.Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. Write Your Own Sefer Tehillim

Mar 20, 2023

2:37

We must take the time to recognize Hashem's gifts of life and love and thank Him for them. Rav Yeruchom Levovitz encourages us to compose our own book of psalms, our gratitude journal filled with thank-you notes to G-d for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. This is a way to show appreciation and express our value for those gifts. Writing down our gratefulness helps us stay mindful of Hashem's grace and reminds us that it's essential to pause, reflect, and be thankful each day. We should count our blessings regularly to live with gratitude, joy, and peace. Only then can we truly understand and appreciate just how much Hashem does for us. Rav Yeruchom Levovitz teaches us to recognize the good and express our thanksgiving. Indeed, writing a personal book of psalms is an excellent way to practice being thankful and mindful of Hashem's gifts.• Recognizing Hashem's gifts of life and love should be a priority.• Rav Yeruchom Levovitz suggests composing a gratitude journal - a book of psalms - to express appreciation for the blessings bestowed by G-d.• Writing down one's gratefulness keeps them mindful of Hashem's grace and reminds them to pause, reflect, and appreciate the gifts.• Counting blessings regularly can lead to living with gratitude, joy, and peace.• Expressing thanksgiving is an essential part of understanding Hashem's endless generosity.See the text inside for yourself!Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. We need to heed the warnings of wise people around us and take steps to protect ourselves from potential catastrophes. The Jewish people could have avoided much difficulty by heeding Mordechai's advice and not attending the party. This same lesson can be applied today, for we all need guidance from knowledgeable individuals in our lives, and this ensures that we are taking the best course of action. A Rabbi or Rebbe can provide valuable insight into difficult situations, helping us make informed decisions that minimize risks and maximize rewards. By following their wisdom, we may avoid many potential calamities. By listening to wise advice from those we trust, we can rest assured that we are taking steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones from harm. The Jewish people did not heed Mordechai's warnings, but we must not make the same mistake. Let us strive to learn from their example and continually seek trustworthy guidance on how to best prepare for whatever life throws our way. No matter what challenges come our way, when we follow wise counsel and remain vigilant in safeguarding ourselves and our loved ones, no amount of adversity can stand in our way. The story of Mordechai and the Jewish people in Persia is a reminder to listen to the proper authority figures at the right time. Save Yourself. Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Herman was known as a Torah giant, and his acts of kindness were famous throughout the Jewish world. He built an entire brand around his good deeds. His inspiring life was told over In the book called "All for the Boss." He often went far out of his way to help others in need, whether offering them money, food, or simply lending an ear. Rabbi Herman truly believed that all our blessings come from G-d and that by doing what we can to improve other people's lives, we are ultimately helping Hashem. Rabbi Herman used his own time and resources to provide charity to those less fortunate than himself. He did this without hesitation or expectation of anything in return. His selfless acts earned him the respect and admiration of those around him, and his story has been passed down through generations as an example of how to live a life filled with kindness. Rabbi Herman's dedication to helping others was one of the most inspiring examples of charity and generosity we can learn from today. His name is synonymous with giving, and his legacy continues in the lives of countless people he helped. He truly embodied the idea that by giving back to society, we ultimately give back to G-d. כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה | The Soundtrack Of Our Lives

Mar 17, 2023

2:41

In today's short Dvar Torah on Parshas Vayakhel-Pekudei:The Jewish people demonstrated their commitment to serving God when constructing the Mishkan according to His specifications. We must strive to have this same enthusiasm and dedication in our lives. This means following God's laws and instructions, no matter the cost. It also means that our actions should reflect our beliefs: we should do all we can to live according to God's will. This same attitude of sincerity and devotion drove the Jewish people to build the Mishkan many years ago. Let us strive to make this idea a soundtrack for our lives today by living according to God's commandments and showing sincere devotion in all aspects of life. May we be inspired by the dedication of those who built the Mishkan and use it as a reminder to always strive for God-centered living. Parshas Vayakhel-Pekudei | Calculated Sluggishness

Mar 16, 2023

3:35

In today's short Torah Talk:The Mesillas Yesharim teaches us that the yetzer hara can be overcome if we analyze our actions and strive to improve rather than choosing comfort over effort. To do this, we must recognize when these excuses are coming from the yetzer hara and decide not to listen. The Nesi'im tarried donating to the Mishkan in our parsha. Although they had the right intentions, their implied rebuke teaches us how a person can overcome laziness and reach greatness through hard work and commitment. We must look to the stories of the Nesi'im as inspiration, striving to push ourselves closer to achieving our full potential in our Divine Service. By recognizing that true greatness lies beyond comfort, one can create a path toward success in life. There Is No Finer Quality Than Acting With Tzniyus

Mar 15, 2023

2:34

This Dvar Torah on the Parsha explains why the second set of Luchos endured eternally while the first did not. The secret behind this success lies in the concept of tzniyus, or privacy. When Hashem gave us the Ten Commandments for a second time, it was done with more significant consideration for privacy and awe than before. Giving us these laws with such sensitivity allowed them to be eternalized, and even today, we still abide by their framework. The parsha provides an essential lesson about cherishing our relationship with G-d and recognizing that it should be done respectfully and privately. By understanding the importance of tzniyus, we can ensure our connection with Hashem remains solid and eternal. This dvar torah is an important reminder to act with integrity, respect, and humility when interacting with Hashem and people. By doing so, we can ensure that our actions align with the Ten Commandments given at Mt. Sinai and continue to live according to them for eternity. On The Parsha | Sometimes You Need To Delete The App

Mar 14, 2023

2:46

Every week, the Parsha (portions of) the Torah are read in our Synagogues and communities, with unique stories and invaluable lessons to be learned. One such class taught by this week’s parsha is that sometimes, tremendous focus and concentration are necessary to accomplish great things. Moshe demonstrated this quality throughout his life, as he isolated himself to speak directly with Hashem (God). By reflecting upon this lesson, we can learn how to implement critical concentration in our lives, allowing us to achieve our goals while staying humble and in tune with God’s will.Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. Jewish Funerals and Burial

Mar 13, 2023

3:01

Attending a funeral can be an emotionally difficult experience, but it is essential to honor the deceased and begin the mourning process. According to Jewish tradition, witnessing the day of death is necessary as part of this process. The purpose of attending a funeral is not only to provide comfort and solace for grieving but also to provide an opportunity for reflection on our own mortality and spiritual growth. The Talmud (Moed Katan 27a) teaches that there should be no separation between people in life or death. We must come together at a time of sadness in solidarity with our fellow Jews and reflect on how we can use this moment to grow spiritually. In addition, gathering together during a person's funeral is a way to provide honor and respect for the deceased as they are laid to rest. Attending funerals also reminds us of our mortality, encouraging us to make the most of every moment on earth. As King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 7:2, "It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting; For that is the end of all mankind." By attending a funeral, we can reflect upon our lives and remind ourselves that life is fleeting and should not be taken for granted. The Parsha Shows Us the PATH

Mar 12, 2023

3:43

The weekly parsha offers us a unique perspective on the eternal journey of finding our path to Hashem. Through its teachings, we can understand the importance of following His will and recognizing our spiritual obligations. The parsha guides understanding that the ultimate goal should be to seek a closer connection with God and strive for holiness in our daily lives. It also helps us understand how we must use our free will to make decisions that honor Hashem while relying on Him for strength during difficult times. The weekly parsha teaches us that although it may not always be easy or comfortable, having faith and trust in God’s plan is essential to find true fulfillment in life. This message of hope encourages us to keep our faith firm even when surrounded by confusion and doubt. With each journey step, we can trust Hashem will provide us with the guidance and strength needed to reach our goals and fulfill our destiny. Parshas Ki Sisa | Repudiate Complacency

Mar 10, 2023

3:22

The Parsha of Ki Sisa teaches us a vital lesson about not rejoicing in sin. In this parsha, the Israelites made and worshipped the golden calf while Moses was on Mount Sinai receiving the Torah from God. God angrily told Moses to beg forgiveness when he saw them worshipping an idol. Despite Moses's pleas, those who had been involved in the making and worship of the golden calf were punished by God. This parsha reminds us that it is never proper to rejoice in sin or wrongdoing, and we must strive to do what is right and shun evil at all costs. Through this parsha, we learn that even if we stray from our path, there is always hope that we can be forgiven and given a second chance. We must never give up on ourselves but dare to make positive life changes. This parsha reminds us that we should always strive for righteousness and shun evil, no matter what temptations come our way. By following this lesson of Ki Sisa, we can live better lives and bring more joy into the world around us.Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar. The Same Torah - Tailor Made

Mar 9, 2023

In this short Torah talk, we explore the difference between the first set of luchos and the second set. What was the impetus for Moshe to spike the first set of holy tablets? Today's idea culminated with Rav Wolbe's important lesson in conveying the Torah to the next generation. Based on the week's Parsha, this idea is paramount for any parent, teacher, or educator. Purim Takeaway

Mar 8, 2023

2:54

Every year, during the holiday of Purim, we are reminded that Hashem is always listening to us and never leaves us alone. He hears every prayer, sees every tear, and is with us throughout our exile. We celebrate this special day to commemorate how God saved the Jewish people from a wicked plot that threatened their existence. On Purim, we gather with family and friends to exchange gifts, give charity to those in need, and eat traditional holiday dishes. We also read the Book of Esther in the synagogue and recite blessings to thank Hashem for His protection. By celebrating Purim, we not only remember the Jewish people's miraculous deliverance from danger but are also reminded that God always listens to us and is with us in our times of need. This day teaches us that no matter how dark the world may seem, Hashem will never forget His chosen people and always be ready to answer our prayers. May this memorable holiday bring joy and peace to all who celebrate it!Support the show----------------Based on this week's Parsha, The Motivation Congregation Podcast is an online Torah class with words of inspiration and motivational mussar.
