Sarah Chana Radcliffe is a psychologist in private practice in Toronto Canada, counseling parents, couples and individuals. Mrs. Radcliffe is the author of the self-help book “No More Tics” as well as the HarperCollins Publications “Raise Your Kids without Raising Your Voice” and “The Fear Fix,” and 7 other books on Jewish family life and emotional well-being, including her most recent parenting book “Better Behavior Now!” Sarah Chana is a weekly columnist for the Family First section of the internationally distributed Mishpacha Magazine. Marcy Forta EdD, MBA is the founder and director of Atzmi, an organization dedicated to supporting the mental health of Jewish girls through programs that improve their self-esteem, body acceptance, and reduce the focus on outward appearances.  She specializes in eating disorder education, awareness, and prevention, focusing specifically on risk factors and prevention within the Jewish Orthodox Adolescent Female Community. She is also a Body Project Facilitator, and a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Dr. Forta’s doctoral research focused on community healthcare stakeholders descriptions of religious and environmental risk factors unique to the Jewish orthodox adolescent female community. Community healthcare stakeholders include rabbis, teachers, principals, mental and physical health professionals. Her research was conducted over a period of several years and focused on the U.S. Midwest region. There is long established evidence supporting prevention programs and their impact, this being the impetus to create Atzmi as the evidence suggests that their efficacy is vastly improved when tailored to specific demographics. Dr. Rachel Fryman supports adolescents and adults with ADHD. Together with clients, she explores the impact of ADHD on relationships, academic achievement, job performance, and overall well-being. Rachel helps clients to identify and incorporate strategies to manage organizational and time management challenges, so that everyday is less stressful and more meaningful. In addition to private practice, Rachel is a social worker at Adelphi University's Learning Resource Program for students with ADHD and learning differences. Dr. Beinvogl is an Attending Physician at Boston Children's Hospital and Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Beinvogl completed medical training at the Technical University of Munich Medical School in Munich, Germany, and went on to do residency and Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at  Boston Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center. Alisa Minkin, MD is host of JOWMA Podcast which provides health education geared to the Orthodox community. Louisa Ferrara, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-S, CNT is a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of clinical experience working with neonates, medically-fragile infants and children with a myriad of complex medical/developmental needs. Dr. Louisa has worked in numerous pediatric settings, most recently as a Program Manager and Specialist in Feeding and Swallowing Disorders at NYU-Winthrop Hospital, in New York. Dr. Louisa developed the NICU Feeding Program in this Level III NICU. She has since stepped down from this clinical position and now manages their NICU Dysphagia Research Team. The team collectively strives to provide clinicians with more evidence to support their practices, with the ultimate goal of improved care for this most special population of infants. She is also an assistant professor at Molloy College on Long Island, NY. Dr. Louisa completed her Doctorate degree in Speech and Language Pathology in May 2018 from Adelphi University. She received her Board Certification in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders in 2014 through ASHA. She has earned specification as a Certified Neonatal Therapist in 2018, through the "NTNCB" (Neonatal Therapist National Certification Board), which she is also a board member. Dr. Bat-Sheva Lerner Maslow is a double board certified Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialist at Reproductive Medical Associates of New Jersey in Englewood and Jersey City, where she also serves as the Lead Physician. She has a special clinical interest in counseling single women about their fertility and their options for fertility preservation. Dr. Maslow also lectures and writes on the intersection of halakha and reproduction, and is frequently called upon as an adviser for questions related to hilkhot niddah. She serves as the Director of Medical Education for the North American Yoatzot Halacha Program and is on the board of directors of several organizations related to Jewish women and healthcare. Dr. Maslow graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College with a BA in History before attending the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received an MD with distinction and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Maslow completed residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania and sub-specialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of Connecticut, where she also completed a master’s degree in clinical and translational research. She has presented her research in esteemed international medical journals, as well as featured national meetings.

Motty Grunwald, CCC-SLP, BCS-F earned his Masters in Speech-Language pathology at Long Island University in 2003, graduating magna cum laude. He externed at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where he worked extensively with patients with voice disorders. He then worked as a speech therapist in several clinic and school settings with children and adults with various speech and language disorders. Eventually, he decided to pursue Board Certification in fluency disorders. He was mentored for four years by Walter Manning, author of the textbook Clinical Decision Making in Fluency Disorders, associate editor of the Journal of Fluency Disorders, and (at the time) associate dean of the University of Memphis. Motty is licensed as a speech-language pathologist in New York and New Jersey. He also  holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology (awarded by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association) and he is one of the fewer than one-tenth of one percent of speech therapists in the USA that is also a Board Certified specialist in fluency disorders (awarded by the American Board of Fluency and Fluency Disorders).  He currently works at Ezra Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Adena Blickstein, MD, MPH is a practicing Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist in NY with a passion for mental health, public health, and children's welfare. She is a graduate from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health (2015) and completed her medical internship at Westchester Medical Center (2016), psychiatry residency at Metropolitan Hospital (2019), and specialty training in child/adolescent psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center (2021). Dr. Alissa Hersh is a board-certified Allergist. She attended medical school at New York Medical College, and completed her Pediatric residency at the Children Hospital of Montefiore, and her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Prior to opening her private practice in Woodmere in 2012, she was a full time attending at New York Presbyterian - Columbia. Dr. Esther Fogel, a clinical audiologist, is the owner and director of Comprehensive Audiology. She received a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Texas and a Doctorate in Audiology from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She completed her residency in Audiology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center’s Hearing and Speech Center. Tehila Saadia, MD CLC is a pediatric and adult allergist, board certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as in Pediatrics. She received her medical degree at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate. She continued on to complete her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she currently maintains affiliation as a Clinical Instructor. She has published and presented her research and rare patient cases across the US and in Canada.  Dr. Saadia is also a certified lactation counselor, and holds a special interest in lactation education and the immunologic benefits of breastfeeding. After taking a temporary leave from clinical medicine to focus on her family, Dr. Saadia anticipates opening a private practice integrating both allergy and breastfeeding medicine in Brooklyn, NY.

Doron is a leading sleep expert, thought leader, and author of two books. Doron is the founder and director of Executive Sleep Consulting, an online sleep practice specializing in digging deep to find solutions for hard to treat sleep issues. He is also dedicated to his community in South Bend, Indiana, where he serves as the spiritual leader for the Midwest Torah Center and has experience in education on every level. Doron is the proud author of two books, one on Jewish medical ethics, “Sources Revealed” and on Jewish mindfulness, “Don’t Mind If I Do” where he explores the intersection of faith, science, spirituality and psychology. He is a Rapid Transformation Hypnotherapist and outdoor enthusiast. Doron is a native of San Diego, where he grew up as the child of two medical professionals. After gaining his BSc from UCLA in psychobiology, his view of health and medicine was thrown a curve ball when he struggled with his own insomnia and was desperately seeking help for his condition. It was only when he realized that his solution lay within, and he embarked on the next 15 years researching sleep, psychology, and the power of the human mind. Chana Ruderman, PhD has been Principal of Torah Day School of Dallas for 19 years. She earned her doctorate at the University of Chicago and began her career at the college level, writing a book on Jane Austen and teaching courses at Colgate University and Cornell University.  She then taught high school for a couple of years before focusing on K-8 education.  A few years after Torah Day School opened, various experiences with gifted children led Dr. Ruderman to complete a master's degree in education with a focus on special education, and in particular gifted and talented education.

Dr. Kaleena Chartrand Sethi completed her undergraduate degree at New York University and medical school at the University of Massachusetts in 2008. She then completed her residency in general pediatrics at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell and her fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at Cohen Children's Medical Center/Northwell Health.  Dr. Chartrand Sethi worked at Flushing Hospital Medical Center evaluating children with a variety of developmental conditions for several years. In 2021, she opened a private practice, Kaleena Chartrand Sethi MD PLLC, specializing in diagnosis and management of developmental and behavioral problems. Miriam Leah Gamliel, EdD is the co-founder and director of ATARA: The Arts & Torah Association, supporting religious women in the creative and performing arts. With ATARA she brought religious female English speaking artists together for community, performances and master classes. ATARA currently collates the work of observant female artists in the form of playlists and monthly news relating to arts work in the Orthodox community worldwide. Sharon Stoll, DO is a board-certified neurologist and assistant professor in the department of neurology at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her neurology residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and her Neuroimmunology fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Stoll continues to play an active role in academic development and continuing medical education. She is an investigator on several international trials and currently serves on several advisory boards. Dr. Stoll has received numerous awards including Top Neurologist 2021, 40 under 40, Rodney Bell teaching award and is a national multiple sclerosis society grant recipient. Dr. Stoll also spent time as a medical editor at ABC News and is currently a medical commentator for several news outlets and shows including “The Doctors.” She has most recently served as the keynote speaker for the annual “Women in Science Symposium and is an internationally renowned speaker and patient advocate. 

Dr. Brocha Tarshish is a medical geneticist based in South Florida. She is a 2004 graduate of Sackler School of Medicine. She completed a preliminary year in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in 2005, and then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital in 2009. After working in Obstetrics and Gynecology for a short time, she then completed a residency in Medical Genetics at Emory University. Dr. Tarshish is board-certified in Clinical Genetics and Genomics. After practicing full-time as a faculty member at the University of Miami for a few years, she began working as a Medical Director for the laboratory division of eviCore Healthcare. In addition to working for eviCore, she also works part-time as a Clinical Geneticist for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Tarshish also works as a Clinical Instructor at NOVA Southeastern University in the physician assistant training program. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of medical genetics. Dr. Tarshish lives in Miami Beach with her husband and three children. 

Ahava Rivka Ehrenpreis, née Sperka, is the author of On My Own... But Not Alone: Practical Advice and Personal Stories (Artscroll/Shaar Press, May 2019), the go-to book for women on their own and everyone who knows them. She is also the CFO of the Lev Akiva Shamai Institute for Torah Learning. Kaitlin Brooks, PHD, CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY. She is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with experience working with adults with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in various settings. Dr. Brooks has published and presented on topics related to communication and swallowing disorders related to stroke as well as the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to the rehabilitation process. She is passionate about improving awareness of aphasia and other communication disorders and educating allied health professionals on ways to improve communication with individuals with a communication disorder, especially in emergency situations. Avi Golden is a practicing EMT and former Critical Care and Flight Paramedic with North Shore LIJ (Northwell) EMS and NY Presbyterian EMS. Avi holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology and has extensive experience as a practicing paramedic both in the US and with Magen Adom David in Israel. After experiencing a stroke in 2007 and resulting aphasia, Avi now educates the medical and lay community, and advocates for aphasia awareness. Dr. Baruch Fertel is the Director of Operations for the Emergency Services Institute and all of the Cleveland Clinic Emergency Departments. He has a strong interest in high reliability, process improvement, utilization, standardization, opioid stewardship and Peer Review/QA. Dr. Fertel is also Associate Chief Quality Officer- Regulatory Affairs for Enterprise Quality & Safety where he provides clinical oversight and leadership for Cleveland Clinic’s interaction with various regulatory agencies, as well as oversight of professional practice evaluation (Peer Review, OPPE, FPPE). Previously, he was Medical Director in the IT Division/ Clinical Systems Office with oversight over the Electronic Health Record (EPIC-ASAP) and other aspects of Clinical Informatics for the Emergency Services Institute and was also the Quality Improvement Officer for the Emergency Services Institute. Clinically, Dr. Fertel sees patients in both the General and Pediatric ED's. He is a teacher to residents, PA and medical students. He holds the academic rank of Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and was also part of the faculty at the PA program at Case Western. Dr. Robyn Koslowitz is a clinical psychologist, parenting educator, and the host of the Post-Traumatic Parenting podcast. Dr. Koslowitz received her master’s degree in School Psychology from New York University in 2002, and her Ph.D. in School/Clinical Child Psychology from New York University in 2009. She is the author of the Prescriptive Parenting column in Binah.  Dr. Koslowitz is the founder of Post-Traumatic Parenting, which is both a podcast and social media community for parents who have ever asked themselves: How can I give my children a normal childhood, if mine was anything but? Catherine Geller, MD is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist. She is originally from New York where she obtained her medical degree at Columbia University. She continued her training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan prior to specializing in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology with a fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.  Dr. Geller is now a Pediatric Otolaryngologist at Cohen Children’s/Northwell/LIJ where she treats patients in the full spectrum of Pediatric Otolaryngology with a special interest in newborns, sleep disordered breathing and sinus. Dr. Alexandra Friedman is internationally recognized for her distinctive accomplishment of graduating at the top of her medical school class while simultaneously raising ten children, three of whom were born during her medical training. She has won many awards for her medical research, leadership skills and community service projects including the Emily Taylor Outstanding Woman Student in Leadership Award, the Judith Wible National Visionary Woman in Medicine Award, the Touro College of Medicine Dean’s Award, and the William H. Baily Memorial Pathology Award. Dr. Friedman has years of experience in medical research including working in neuroscience and molecular biology research labs at the NIH, the University of Kansas Medical Center, and The College of William and Mary. Dr. Jessica Jacob is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She completed her medical degree at NYU School of Medicine and her OB/GYN residency at North Shore University Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She has won numerous awards including the Physician’s Recognition Award from the American Medical Association. Dr. Jacob has delivered more babies than any other healthcare professional at Northshore University Hospital, and she has extremely low C-section and complication rates. Rena Kravitz, DDS, FAAPD, DABPD received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College where she graduated cum laude, and was awarded her dental degree from Columbia School of Dental Medicine. She completed residency training in General Dentistry at Kings County Hospital, where she is the Director of Pediatric Dentistry, and subsequently completed her postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Maureen Nemetski is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at Hackensack University Medical Center - Joseph M Sanzari Children’s Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. She obtained her MD/PhD from New York University School of Medicine, and completed a Pediatrics Residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, and a Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. In 2019, she joined JOWMA as the first chair of the Preventative Health Committee and launched our vaccination hotline and preventative health podcasts. She stepped down from her role as the JOWMA Preventative Health Committee Chair in May 2020, in order to devote her energies to the medical advisory committees of Yeshivat Frisch and Ben Porat Yosef, and the New Jersey Yeshiva Joint Medical Committee as it worked with Jewish day and high schools in and around Bergen County to reopen - and stay open - safely during this pandemic.

Avishai T Neuman, MD, MSc, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and Sackler alumus of the class of 2006. Currently Dr. Neuman is the Medical Director of Centurion Anesthesia – an anesthesia group that provides services to over 100 ambulatory and office based practices in 10 states, primarily in NY, NJ and Florida. Dr. Kristin Kelly-Pieper is the pulmonary director of the Pediatric Sleep Disorders program at Cohen Children’s Medical Center.  After graduating the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she continued her training at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Children’s Hospital of New York, and the Sleep Disorders Institute of New York Medical College. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Sleep Medicine and Pediatric Pulmonology. She is an assistant professor at Hofstra University Medical School.  Her clinical practice includes the full spectrum of pediatric sleep disorders from sleep disordered breathing to insomnia to restless leg syndrome. Dr. Lauren Macaluso is a board certified pediatrician and lactation consultant with a breastfeeding medicine private practice. Nini Munoz, originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, obtained her PhD in electrical engineering from Cornell University in 2014. She completed her BS from Cornell as well. She currently works as the fabrication, design, and process integration lead engineer of inertial navigation systems for Garmin International in Goleta CA. Prior to working in the aviation sector, she worked extensively on the design of vacuum systems and materials characterization for semiconductor processing. Dr. Karkare is the director of the Pediatric Epilepsy Center at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, designated as a level 4 center by the NAEC (National Association of Epilepsy Centers). She is board certified in Epilepsy, Child Neurology and Pediatrics. She completed her training from Children’s Hospital of Michigan, University of Michigan and New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. Avigail Gimpel is a mom and educator who is the author of Hyper Healing: The Empowered Parent’s Complete Guide to raising a healthy child with ADHD symptoms. Avigail received her BA from Touro college and completed her graduate studies at Touro college graduate school for Special Education in Manhattan, New York. She taught in Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway from 1995 to 1998, where she developed an intervention program for student struggling with ADHD symptoms, after which she married and made aliyah.In Israel she earned advanced degrees in teaching reading to children with Dyslexia and cognitive education for children with ADHD symptoms.After returning  to Israel, she immersed herself in studying and developing treatment options for ADHD for her own kids and many struggling students. She collaborated with her father-in-law, Dr. Amnon Gimpel (psychiatrist and neurologist), and developed a parent training program.
