“Bring them home” hits home right now. The hostages that haven’t been released yet, our soldiers out there protecting us. This is our stance as a collective. However, on an individual level, we are all on a journey, on a trip. We ask Hashem to guide us, protect us with kindness and grace. The words are all there, in our Torah, our scriptures, psalms and prayers. We just need to open our eyes and sing these words with all our might. BRING US ALL HOME in every sense of the word. I wrote this tune about a week before the big rally in Washington DC. It was a symbolic trip I was making that represented so much more.
