We are celebrating the Rebbe & Rebbetzins 90th Wedding Anniversary! In this Sicha we learn about the Teshuva accomplished by a wedding, based off the wedding of Esav to Yishmae'ls daughter. Like Yom Kippur, a wedding brings Kaparah through either a) the marriage itself b) the wedding inspires the person to do Teshuva or c) the specialness of the Mitzvah/Moment motivates you. The Torah uses Esav's wedding to teach us about Teshuva - Esav is not perfect by any means, but he is a Yid and the wedding sparks our neshamos, all of us - no matter our level. We can use the koach of 14 Kislev to apply this to us in our daily avodah. Marriage between man & woman has a purpose of Peru Urevu. Marriage of Hashem and Yidden has a purpose of Torah, Mitzvos. When you teach someone to do a mitzvah, mekarev another with coming closer to Torah, Mitzvos or Yidden, these are peiros of peru urevu. We live now in disorderly times, the world is crazy - if something comes your way - just grab it! (ie Dorm Food Mentality). "A chassid is like a soccer player, if the ball comes your way, you gotta kick it!" We have to save neshamos! I commit. Hashem kicks in. My commitment = wedding day. Areas when I think “Why is this happening to me?” “Why did I get myself into this mess?” Lessons from Rashi & The Bigdei Kehuna …Everything is there to teach you in avodas hashem, but in this case, Rashi got into a more messy situation! Rashi was in a situation that he wished hadn’t happened! What do I do with something like this that I can still bring this into my Avodas Hashem? It takes your heart. Your yechida rests in your heart. No experience in the world can blacken the yechida. Even those things that seem to be opposite of the Torah! To be able to take a negative experience and transform it - this power you get from your heart!  Only with your heart, your yechida, can you go through a situation where you see something or experience something that you really did not want to. And then you can find the powerful light within the darkness - here it gave Rashi understanding of the Kohen’s Clothing, the Eifod! “Why do i have to have this shmutz in my life?!” Everything is from Hashem You have to be bothered by it, it’s healthy! This experience will push you to a place that brings honor to Hashem! A moment that feels painful - what’s the purpose of this mess? Everything is for a purpose! Ki Sisa, Chelek Chof Vov, page 248 Whats good about being broken? Moshe broke the Luchos and Hashem said "yasher koach!" Hashem agreed with Moshe and praised him. The yidden served the eigel, Moshe saved the honor of the Torah, etc - this could make sense, but the Rebbe says - no! Its not enough! Moshe could have just hid the luchos (toss into the ocean :)) - why specifically break them? There is something praiseworthy of broken luchos. We see that Moshe was sad about it and Hashem comforted him - the second set of luchos came along with Torah She'baal Peh too! With more, expansion! The 2nd set was an upgrade! And Moshe was praised after the 2nd set was given. The broken luchos made space for something bigger. Breaking the luchos in front of the yidden, broke us open allowing us to be open to Hashem, open to a bigger, better, expanded future. So is being broken the way to go? NO! The secret of the luchos 1 & 2 - broken & whole - is where they were kept - together, in the Aron! The Aron had measurements, yet took no space - the holding of 2 opposites together. Just like we should bring the 2 opposites of broken luchos & whole luchos together. We each have an aron in our hearts and are empowered to live with these 2 aspects together: broken, allowing the space for Hashem in, and whole - being myself fully invested with all my strengths and full self (not a robot). And from the broken moments, we can grow and double and redouble accomplishments! "Why does Hashem break us?" We should have Moshiach NOW and then we can see the greatness of the journey!

He called the Rebbe personal phone number. Rabbi Klein felt bad for disturbing them. Rebbetzin answer "this is what we are here for" How do we get out of golus? Learning halacha, take responsibility for your fellow Yid who is in this choking situation, to the extent that it becomes your pleasure 2 partners want to make a wall, as partners. Focus on the UNITY that will be revealed a. For sure between each other, hidden and b. And in our relationship with Hashem We go into Hashem bank account and pull our the supplies we need to overcome the negativity of the golus This darkness is so powerful we are choking from it The halacha is that Hashem can kick in as the guarantor! Place of chessed not place of din. When we are in golus perspective, it feels not so simple to get Hashem on board. Need to make it happen But when we learn the yerushalmy - clear light, clear perspective, then we know the partnership of hashem and yidden is clear. We just need to let Hashem know we are in pain. Let Hashem know about the pain of golus and say to Hashem "ad mosai!" Just Hashem seeing a Yid in this moment of pain and Ad Mosai - Hashem will take responsibility for his beloved nation.
