This week's learning is sponsored by a listener in honor of the Hayom Yom of 9 Tammuz : "All Jewish parents who need to have a special salvation and help for their children, the surest way is to support Torah learners." May we all experience true yiddishe nachas! And this week's learning is in honor of the holy Head Shliach of Florida, Rabbi Avremel Korf, who passed away Monday Night on Yud Beis Tammuz. A shliach who turned swamp land into a vibrant Jewish State. As I heard in a story he said "I am the Rebbes representative in Florida. And as the Rebbe's shliach, I must welcome and accept every Jew with sever panim yafos". This feels apropros to this weeks sicha. Chelek Chof Ches pg 149. Perspective on the players in my life is the key to gratitude. - put my energy into "what is Hashem telling me here" - this person has no power - this all happened for me, to put me on a mission, to bring to me to do something bigger - "a yid never makes me uncomfortable!" - be rid of the 'sin' not the person who did it - if shalosh klipos tamayos: if enemy is no longer needed, he'll disappear - i work for Hashem - what does Hashem want from me in this experience?

"Sicha #174: *Parshas Matos-Maasei,* Chelek Chof Gimmul page 214. My body's experience and ability is the deepest expression of Hashem’s power. Menachem Av - We bring our father comfort. This week's learning sponsored by 3 individuals! *Chaya Musha bas Devorah Leah* & *Henna Shomer* both in honor of their Yom Huledes - May this learning be a zchus for a shnas bracha, ad bli dai!!* Thank you for choosing these sichos as your birthday gift! Learning sponsored also by *Susan Shapiro* in honor of the yahrtzeit of her mother (my Safta!) *Basya bas Nessa*. May her neshama have an aliyah and endless nachas! Want to get in on sponsoring? PM me! *Sicha Summary Notes* Ever had a moment where you were really *stuck* in your own challenge? In this month of Menachem Av, we comfort Hashem for the pain He is in. There are 2 dimensions of Hashem’s pain of being in golus 1. *Shchina is with the yidden in Golus.* When we experience our Geulah it is Hashem’s Geulah. Our neshamos are always Godly, no choice there, but our bodies - that dont reflect godliness, those Hashem chose! When we are physically (body) in golus, so is Hashem. 2. Like a king who said to his servants, if you are looking for me, *I am going to be next to my son.* What is deeper about this that is being added? Differentiation! Jewish Mothers - *we get it!* Where my kid is, that's where Ill be. *2 different situations* The father feels obvious cherishing of the child, bringing nachas! Warm fuzzy feeling, my delicious child, i'm with them! - neshama part of the yid, *nachas producer* , neshama is never affected by the golus Rebbe adding! This is also true when it comes to the body. The body does NOT show Hashem. It looks just as coarse as other bodies. Mashal - if you are looking for me, I am going to be with my son. Ya this is my kid, i go with him everywhere he is at. *Hashem is with us in our tumah* . *Essential connection* Only in the Jewish Body (vs soul) do you see the connection of Hashems essence. I'm with my kid. Period. Hashem is ALWAYS with us. Menachem Av - Hashem is here as the father to his child. Level 1 nachas connection - *neshama experience* Level 2 essential connection - *body experience* Taking this even deeper... We also suffer loss, How can we comfort Hashem? The greatness of what the child can do > parents Like a blue eyed child born from brown eyed parents, the child reveals a recessive gene his parents have, but did not display. You have incredible power! Show up with all the emunah, all the positivity - WOW! This was always there in Hashem but not expressed until a Yid does this. We have the ability through our physical struggles, we are bringing out a koiach always there in Hashem - that had not yet been brought out. *All of us showing up in Mitzvos, Torah, we are bringing out Hashems “recessive DNA”. there is no such thing as a ME struggle - don't ever feel alone, you are Hashems essence being expressed*. Feel empowered! We can define the golus, tap into incredible koiach, Hashems essence pumping through us. Shift to new approach: Moshiach!"

237. Noach: Daven, Dont Give Up on Anyone!
Oct 24, 2025
32:08
Chelek Chof Hey, page 19: Dont give up on anyone This sicha learning is in zchus of a Refuah Sheleima for Levi HaLevi ben Leah! In this week’s sicha the Rebbe explores why Noach didn’t daven for his generation as Moshe later did. Reb Yehuda explains that this wasn’t Noach’s fault, he simply lived before the Avos, whose merit empowered Moshe’s prayers. Reb Yitzchak, however, argues that even without those merits, Noach still should have prayed for others; somehow, he could have found a way to arouse mercy for his generation. Reb Levik explains that these two views reflect their inner traits: Reb Yehuda’s chessed versus Reb Yitzchak’s gevurah. We know dan l’kaf zechus- judging others favorably - isn’t only for those with a kind nature; it’s a rule for every Jew, no matter their temperament. The discussion parallels Rashi’s comment on “Noach ish tzadik bedorosav” - was Noach righteous only in his generation or would he have been even greater among true tzadikim? If the Torah prefers positive language, why mention a possible negative? The Rebbe explains that when Torah describes a person, it always uses positive language, but when it teaches a lesson, clarity takes priority - even if it sounds critical. Guidelines must be clear. Here the Torah isn’t telling us biographical details about Noach, but giving us guidance: to learn from Noach’s limits, not to imitate them. Noach did the best he could in his generation, but for us the lesson is not to stop at “I did my part.” Like Reb Yitzchak emphasizes, we must never give up on anyone; even when a situation seems hopeless, we can, and must, continue to daven and reach out. This teaching carries powerful relevance today. Sometimes we feel we’ve tried everything to inspire others or fix a situation, and we tell ourselves it’s out of our hands. But the Rebbe reminds us: don’t stop praying, don’t stop believing, and don’t stop caring. The very act of staying committed brings divine mercy and opens new channels of blessing. Just as Moshe, a man of emes, wanted us to follow in Aharon’s ways of peace, we can “do Noach a favor” by learning from his story and choosing differently - never giving up on a fellow Jew, always believing in the possibility of change, and bringing closer the time when “no Jew will ever be lost again.”

Chelek Chof Hey pg 150. Angels of Geula accompany us out of Golus. Kislev 7, 5786 | Parshas Vayeitzei | Sicha #242Hashem sends each of us malachim. Protection Malachim & geulah Malachim. Geulah malachim reveal how extraordinary we truly are and how much we’ve already accomplished. That awareness gives us new koach to complete the last bits of our avodah. Even now, while still in galus, Hashem’s special escort guards us every step, surrounding us with protection and honor, as the nations themselves line up to serve us. We don’t need to fear bad influences or feel pressured to “fit in”—we already have geulah malachim walking with us. This knowledge lets us drop the fear, leave defensive mode behind, and step forward with confidence and dignity, tending to our “pachim ktanim” and crossing our final borders into geulah—openly, proudly, and with the honor every Yid deserves. ✨ This Sicha learning is sponsored by: 🩷 Esther Weiner In honor of her dear daughter Shaina Rivka bas Esther Rochel on her birthday! 🎉 May she have a shnas bracha v’hatzlacha mit aleh brachos — from alef to taf, iy”H! 🎉 Happy Birthday to fellow shlucha Raizy Mendelsohn! 35. Vayeishev: Yud Daled Kislev
Dec 4, 2025
34:37
We are celebrating the Rebbe & Rebbetzins 90th Wedding Anniversary! In this Sicha we learn about the Teshuva accomplished by a wedding, based off the wedding of Esav to Yishmae'ls daughter. Like Yom Kippur, a wedding brings Kaparah through either a) the marriage itself b) the wedding inspires the person to do Teshuva or c) the specialness of the Mitzvah/Moment motivates you. The Torah uses Esav's wedding to teach us about Teshuva - Esav is not perfect by any means, but he is a Yid and the wedding sparks our neshamos, all of us - no matter our level. We can use the koach of 14 Kislev to apply this to us in our daily avodah. Marriage between man & woman has a purpose of Peru Urevu. Marriage of Hashem and Yidden has a purpose of Torah, Mitzvos. When you teach someone to do a mitzvah, mekarev another with coming closer to Torah, Mitzvos or Yidden, these are peiros of peru urevu. We live now in disorderly times, the world is crazy - if something comes your way - just grab it! (ie Dorm Food Mentality). "A chassid is like a soccer player, if the ball comes your way, you gotta kick it!" We have to save neshamos! I commit. Hashem kicks in. My commitment = wedding day. This commitment = uplifts, give koach, enables me to be more committed. This brings a cycle of Koach! But I might think: what about me, im not great enough..im really low - your past doesnt matter (Esav)! I make it my business to commit to Hashems work and the Rebbes directives of doing my shlichus, and Hashem will uplift and empower! And this will bring about the complete marriage between Hashem & the Yidden with Moshiach!

Their “jealousy” was spiritual, each striving to serve Hashem in the deepest way. Yaakov anchored them by “shamor es hadavar”, remembering the point of it all: it’s not about me or you, but what Hashem wants done. Everyone needs Yosef, so too with Chassidus Chabad, its for everyone! So too, Yud Tes Kislev marks when the Maggid, just before he passed away, said to the Alter Rebbe “this will be a day of our celebration” taking the Baal Shem Tovs & Maggids Chassidus and turning it into a maayan that will impact everyone and bring us from golus to geulah. Today we see it happening—the maayanos reaching every corner of the world. Let’s not get caught up in ourselves, and in the differentiation, and lets stay focused on the mission!

Chelek Tes vov. Pg 331 In the story of Yehuda and Tamar, Tamar asks for Yehuda’s signet ring, cloak, and staff, items that marked his unique identity. The Rebbe explains that the ring with its seal reflects a deep truth: the ring represents the natural world,, while the seal represents Shabbos/above nature- the awareness that all of nature belongs to Hashem. The seal is not separate from the ring; it’s part of it and transforms the whole ring into something marked by its owner. So too, our everyday, natural life must be permeated with the “seal” of mesiras nefesh—the mark of miracles and total connection to Hashem. That’s why marriage is done with a ring, learned from Yehuda and Tamar, because marriage itself blends the natural and the infinite, bringing Hashem’s presence into the cycle of life. When we live with that awareness, our ordinary days become miraculous, our homes reflect Hashem’s infinity, and we help bring the world to its ultimate marriage - the revelation of Moshiach.

Chelek Chof Hey pg 270. Hashem, lift me out of here! This week’s Sicha learning is honor of: *Esty Tsap, in honor of her birthday today, Yud Beis Teves! *Brochie Altabe, in honor of her birthday, Vav Teves, and wishing arichus yamim and good health to her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Hecht. With gratitude to Etty & Mrs. Shapiro for making Chassidus so accessible to women, bringing Moshiach now! *A quick and smooth Refuah sheleima for Yehuda Leib ben Manya, we are all davening for you! Yaakov asked Yosef not to leave him in Mitzrayim, and Yosef promised he wouldn’t. Then Yaakov said, “Swear to me,” and Yosef made a shvua. Why both a promise and a shvua? A promise means “I’ll do it when I can,” but a shvua makes it front and center - something you live with constantly. On a deeper level, a shvua means commitment beyond logic: even if it doesn’t make sense, I’ll still do it. Yosef’s mission was to bring Hashem into the golus and uplift it. He could have reasoned that Yaakov - with all his holiness - should stay in Mitzrayim to help elevate it. But Yaakov said no - “Swear to me you’ll take me out.” Yaakov’s role was to remain above the golus, like the person standing outside a cave holding the rope to lift the one inside. Yosef and Yaakov represent two roles: Yosef transforms the darkness from within; Yaakov stays above and pulls us toward Geulah. Our takeaway: In our own “golus moments,” be a Yosef - bring Hashem into whatever you’re facing and ask, “What does Hashem want from me here?” But also be a Yaakov - never get comfortable in the darkness. Stay mindful, keep striving, and cry out, “Hashem, lift me up out of this golus!”

"Empowering & beautiful sicha! Chinuch for ourselves ~ how do we view ourselves? How do we view others? Through a conversation with the Tzemach Tzedek & the Alter Rebbe, our Rebbe highlights an integral message Torah is telling us - Adam is written with a big Alef, even after the ""Chait Eitz Hadaas"" - because of his G-d given incredible greatness, essential to him, unmarred by his mistakes. In Vayikra, the alef is written in small - telling us of Moshes humility. Moshe KNEW of his greatness - did not let it ""get to his head"" and he seeked to compare himself to others, and note of their greatness. This is not just a simple piece, its a direct Chinuch Answer from A""R to T""T ~ and a DIRECTION for each of us! (Adam in Us) We must have an honest awareness of our essential greatness! We are a piece of Hashem! We must know our abilities and inherent greatness, regardless of our mistakes or our past. (Moshe in Us) And yet, we must understand that greatness can be a ""trip up"". We remain humble and understand the bigger picture, being able to make proper choices in life. #1 Ingrain in yourself that your talent is a GIFT, I didnt make it, I only choose what to DO with it. and #2: Seek out the greatness in others! Get to know how incredible you are and then tap into it! Right now - you have the big Alef ~ you can rise above! you can accomplish! Regardless of my previous habits, past, etc. And look at others and realize, if someone else had these gifts, they could use it better. Look at others & seek out their greatness, talent and beauty!" “The basis of chinuch is that all the child’s needs are being met - physical, emotional, spiritual.” “Educating children and influencing others brings you personal redemption." This sicha spoke about "pintele yid chinuch" A comment from when we first discussed it " i was listening to the part abt holding high standards like the kohen even when the child doesn’t understand and doesn’t want that. Today one of my students shared a story abt the group that was brought after the Chernobyl disaster to kfar Chabad. The organizers were concerned abt a huge group of girls that came with their own clothing. Should they have standards of tznius? The Rebbe answered that the standard should be high to the level of the community. But they should buy the girls really nice clothing. Thought that was a nice example of this type of chinuch. Going for the high standard but making it something that works for this child."

57. Emor: Highlight Zchusim, Shlomis bas Divri
May 15, 2019
26:56
Parshas Emor, Likkutei Sichos lamed zayin, page 67 This sicha dives into Torah's mention of Shlomis bas Divri and her illicit relationship with an Egyptian man. Rashi tells us this is mentioned to praise the yidden that this was the only time this happened, and that there were no arayos within the yidden at this time. But still, why would Torah use this negative instance to highlight a positive praise of the yidden? This can be compared to someone doing true teshuva - a past negative now becomes like a merit. Something negative can happen but when that is a growth point, a springboard for positive growth & action, then the negative thing takes on positive purpose. In todays time this is a way that we can even elevate shalosh klipas hatamayus. If a person does such great teshuva that his past actions become now true zchusim, then this elevates the past klipah. There is no such thing as a lost case. We are in golus, people make mistakes, so then what? We dont give up, we use it a springboard for teshuva, and this uplifts the past. Looking back, there is purpose for the difficult or negative things someone may end up involved in - moving forward, we use it to grow even closer to Hashem, even more kedusha. And when we look at someone else, we dont write them off, our job is to highlight the good, take that persons negative story and highlight the zchusim in it.

This sicha is based off of the possuk "You must not place an obstacle before a blind person" If this instruction were meant to be taken literally, it would be superfluous, since the laws regarding personal damages have already been laid down in parashas Mishpatim. It also cannot only be meant to refer to giving bad advice to someone who is “blind” and unaware or ignorant in a certain area, since that, too, is covered in the prohibition against causing damage. Rather, this verse forbids giving sound advice with ulterior motives. For example, you may not tell a naïve person to sell his field and buy a donkey so that you can then buy his field. Even if this advice is actually advantageous for the “blind” person, it is still prohibited on account of the motivation of the advisor. The Torah is teaching us the proper approach towards helping others. In order to help another yid, we must rid ourselves of any self-oriented motivation, focusing instead solely on the needs of the other person. This gives us a powerful message about Ahavas Yisroel - how far we should go for the well being of a fellow yid. The goal is not only about the other's "good" results, but that in the process, you were doing it only to help him, and not at all with your own agenda. Try to put yourself completely in their place. And only when you do that are you able to avoid subjectivity. When you really feel like your fellow yid is YOU, you have true unity with him, then you will be fully invested in him as if you would be in yourself. As a spouse, parent, shlucha, mechanech, doing chessed for others - remember this mitzvah and put ourselves and our own agenda aside, and not guide someone for our own reason - this is the epitome of v'ahavta lrayacha kamocha. 265. Naso: Carry Torah Close To My Heart
May 28, 2026

Chelek Chof Ches pg 49. Carrying the Torah close to my heart is the correct location for the Torah. The Rebbe explains a powerful difference between the Aron and the other keilim of the Mishkan. While the Leviim transported all the holy objects, the Aron had a unique requirement: “upon the shoulder they shall carry it.” The Rambam brings the story of Dovid and Uzah not as history, but as halacha, the Aron itself requires a specific place. Because it contains the Luchos and a Sefer Torah, its place is to be carriedon the shoulders, close to your heart.. Similarly, a Sefer Torah always has a place it belongs: in the Aron Kodesh in shul, and close to one’s heart during travel. In Chassidus, the Luchos represent a revelation of “Hashem’s face”, a direct pnimiyus connection created through Torah. This is the deeper meaning of facing the Aron while carrying it: where a person’s focus, identity, and geshmak truly lie. As we come from Shavuos and approach Gimmel Tammuz, the avodah is to keep our “faces” turned toward the Rebbe’s inyanim and the Torah of the Rebbe, making sure our geshmak is in the holy stuff. With a HUGE thank you to this Week’s Sicha Sponsors: Anonymous, in honor of the birthday and shidduch of our sister.
